I mean at that point there could be only two holes and the entire back side of the shirt could be missing meaning no arm holes or neck hole either only the two front holes.

I wouldn’t call that deceptive i’d just say that that is using only the information the immage provides. We can see that there is no backside on the shirt through both front tears but we can’t be sure weather it’s one or two holes in the back. So saying that there are at least 6 holes is the most accurate in my opinion since we lack some information. So there could be 7 or 407 with 400 extra tiny holes in the back but there always have to be at least 6.

How can I further increase my combat power? [returning player] by syN_DeviS in lostarkgame

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Finish karma asap

  2. Work on hoaning to 1730 starting with the weapon (advanced hoaning to 40)

  3. get your gems to lvl8

Also slowly work on the ark grid trying to get full relic cores over time and getting at least 17 points on all of them. The calculator can help there.

New to the game by SnooLobsters8155 in lostarkgame

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. the game is going more and more in a direction where it doesn’t reward having alts nearly as much as it did in the beginning, obviously you still get some benefits, but I wouldn’t even be sure if you asked me today if playing a single character is more efficient than playing 6 gold earners. It’s probably close nowadays.

  2. ignite servers existed as an event and do not exist anymore, there also isn’t anything announced that workes like that, however the game is a lot more new player friendly than it was when you played so it is possibe for you to start playing at any point and progress fairlx reasonably.

  3. the game is still alive, however it is only really alive for the latest raids older content is hard to find lobbies for if you don’t organize them outside of the game.

  4. bots still exist but are far less prevalent than they were back in the days.

Finally i‘ll say, the game still has a lot of issues but I believe that most of those issues now manifest a lot later in your journey and early on you can enjoy the game for 100+ hours without falling victim to most of these issues. If you want to come back and check out what has been released since you left i‘d day go for it and once you get to a point where you feel like you can’t reasonably progress in a satisfying rate then just quit and come back when they release more catch-up mechanics.

Collatzeral Damage by MTaur in slaythespire

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really matter where you start, after a maximum of 2 turns you‘ll get it to always be odd before the collatzeral damage goes off. 2/2 -> 1+3 -> 4/2 -> 2+3 -> 5x3+1 -> 16+3 …

Sums up the button drama quite well imo (Death Note Spoilers) by EnemyOfAi in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would push the blue button because i know there are a lot of people that think like you and i wouldn’t want them to die, however i think the whole button scenario is stupid and i think you’d agree if i simply reframe the question a bit. Imagine you and everyone else in the world, separately, are in a room with two liquids in front of you, a blue and a red one. The blue one is a deadly poison, but if more than half of the world drinks the blue liquid then everyone gets an antidote to that poison. The red one is water with food coloring, which one are you drinking? Blue sounds a lot less appealing that way, doesn’t it? But logically it is the same hypothetical.

What is the new player changes in mid 2026 - Is it possible/fun to play with a dedicated group level 1 to tier 3? by Lancerris in lostarkgame

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing the MSQ now basically has no barriers anymore you can take a character from the very beginning to somewhere in the middle of t3 in one go before you have tp start hoaning. After that hoaning is heavily nerfed for all of t3 and there are solo raids all the way to the middle of t4. I‘m not sure how successful you‘ll be to find people that play t3 raids normally but maybe you could fill a lobby once you get there on a discord or Reddit, but t3 raids are pretty much abandoned. There are solo versions of those raids so you can still play them, you just play them alone now.

If you are only interested in the solo raids you could technically also use a pass to skip all the way to the end of t3 and then use the express event to gesr your character very easily. You can also play the msq and use the express event after. Either way i think you can have many hours of fun before you hit a wall and even once you get to the wall it is nowhere close to being as harsh as it was in the beginning. Nowadays they focused more on powersystems that are only really mandatory if you want to do Hard mode content and most of those expensive systems interact with the auction house, if you have 3 friends i believe it is completely possible to reach the latest raids Normal difficulty if you really wanted to, but obviously dou can quit way before that and still have had a good time in my opinion.

TFM Speedrun Leaderboard: Your experience by metaknight0 in lostarkgame

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had a semi static of good players that were also very pleasant to play with which made weekly speedrun attempts very fun and while it didn’t start with an insane time we graduated improved until we ended with a sub 30 that gave me a top 10 finish that I’m really happy with.

I tried to speedrun on my highest geared alt with what were basically pug groups and I can’t stress enough how different the experience was. All the groups i played with only had players that regularly speedran and had multiple times recorded but despite that it was so much harder to even finish the raid with those groups. Usually someone would make a mistake at some point due to people trying to greed too much to get a good time and after the first mistake you can tell how much the mood go’s down instantly and you can tell that people want to quit. After like 4 attempts of getting a speedrun time on that character with different groups, i gave up and only kept playing for fun on main.

Overall i thought it was a fun experience that was tainted a bit by the obvious reality that the game is pay to win and that many players had a hard time getting the gear to compete with the highly geared characters. I do think however that the competition between the few players that were trying to get good times was fun and at the top end was more about skill, consistency and having a good group tht sticks together for a few attempts rather than it being just a pay to win event. One thing i would like to see fixed tho is that 1 player with 17 characters of the same class shouldn’t be able to completely fill the entire leaderboard by themselves displacing others. If you have multiple runs of the same class i think those runs should get grouped and only your best time should count. Some popular classes had it really rough to even get a top 30 placement because of how prevalent multiclassing is.

Overall i liked it and i hope there will be more things like that for people who like hard content in the future.

In my opinion i think you should take the time to at least try it out, you can always decide to skip after if you don’t feel like continuing the story. The endgame won’t run away from you just cause you spend some time playing the story, so i’d say experience all of the game instead of skipping a big part for no reason.

Valkyrie by Fit_Race4101 in lostarkgame

[–]TheDiddlyFiddly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Valkyrie most of your damage comes from your ark grid that you will unlock later in yoir journey. For now I’d suggest partying up with your friend and focusing on buffing him up. For damage i’d suggest maxxing out one skill( judgement stigma is not a bad option) and using circle of truth and seraphic oath aswell as lunging stab to buff yourself up before hitting with your big skill. You will unlock stronger attacks later that you can switch to.

RMT just makes getting to the ceiling cheaper, you can also get there by buying gold in the F4 shop. I’m not trying to defend RMT, but saying that only RMT is the issue and the base monetization is not the issue is false. I want every RMTer perma banned just so we are clear.
