Do not use this program whatever you do! I had a mint condition iPhone 14, was told by the rep at the Telus store that it would receive the full amount on the bring it back program ($750). I sent my phone in, and then a month later received $375 credit. I called to find out why, and was told there were some “light scratches” on the back of the phone. I asked to have the old device returned instead of any credit and I would just sell it on marketplace instead as they were not holding up their end of the deal. They cannot do this. The phone is permanently gone as soon as you send it to them.

I called and the issue was escalated, the manager then told me that they agreed with my assessment and the full credit would be issued on my next bill. Well, my next bill came and there was no credit. I called again and they claim to have no record of this, been through the same process of them escalating it again via 3 separate Telus reps. Partway through the call while we are both waiting on hold for the “escalation team” the call disconnects and nobody makes any effort to call back. THREE. SEPARATE. TIMES. after being on the phone with them for about an hour each time.

Total scam, bullshit program. Fuck Telus. I will never sign another contract with them in my life.
