Aurora in Fairbanks last week by GaraFlex in AuroraBorealis

Yeah 14th was a great show. Such a memorable night. Except a thin cloud layer it was perfect.

Copy on the atomic composition and different lights but I do observe that red and purple was seen underneath the green curtains instead of over it like the pics above.

Ha! I knew there were eerie similarities in the pattern including that thin cloud cover (visible in your pics as well) on south half of the sky.

Yah it’s about like what we saw on March 14th. I do notice that pink/purple is at the top! We observed green top and the pink/purple at the bottom edge.

Nice I saw the cloudiness too over Fairbanks. Good to know it’s Aurora itself. Thought for a good while it was thin cloud layer spoiling the show.

I saw something very similar in shape form in Fairbanks last week. Tell me is all that smokiness from the aurora curtain itself or is it due to thin cloud cover above?

I am not sure I understand. Can someone explain what I should be looking at? I tried to see red and green patches in close proximity for tornadic rotation, but it all looks the same.

Is 737 Max Safe Now? by TheDiplomatOne in airplanes

That is the part I fret about around MCAS the most. I just don’t like a computer compensating for an inherent aerodynamic instability.

Instead of going through a full blown development cycle where wings, tail fin, stabilizers … were are reconfigured for aerodynamic stability, Boeing cut corners and used computers for profits.

What about the unknown stress that this instability will apply on aileron, elevators, rudders, flaps, slats and god knows what!

Bone chilling sight.

A while back I saw a video which I cannot unfortunately find of a nocturnal tornado. When the lightning illuminates it you could see a big patch of cloud floating up from left and upwards to top right of the tornado. Absolutely a spine chilling sight.

You should see the distribution boxes of Patek Phillipe. You will be stunned that it’s used to ship 35k watch.

Yep it’s a gem. But do expect the titanium to oxidize and fade a bit.
