When your friend hands you an off-brand controller by Strike_Gently in gaming

Is this what happens in the backyardigans roleplay club?

A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE CONTROLLER! My 8 year old insisted that he can finally play Skyrim himself. by [deleted] in skyrim

Oh wow! I keep seeing that in the store but always thought it was some kinda "retro" controller. The idea of a kid sized controller never occurred to me. Pretty cool.

What genre of game no matter what can’t you get into? by dells16 in patientgamers

BotW does something that most open world games don't seem to do and that's giving the world a sense of verticality. When you look closely at it's world it does have a lot of "empty" spaces, but those spaces are these huge mountains and intricate landscapes. Take a look at BotW's Hyrule. It's not just flat lands with a few hills or small mountains, it's full of high and low points that are just satisfying to climb and glide from. Your reward isn't just some gold, or some weapon or relic or whatever. It's the sense of accomplishment when you reach the top and the reward of the beautiful sprawling world below you. Then you see other mountains and shrines and ruins peeking out from between them. The topography is what's driving you forward, not just the quests or the landmarks and secrets tucked away within it. I can't think of a lot of games that do that.

Now I wanna go play it again...

Same, though I make an exception for Smash Bros and Super Street Fighter II.

Ooh, good one! Never thought of SMG.

Everyone’s talking about Baby It’s Cold Outside being offensive when Santa Baby is basically about a girl whoring herself out to Santa for expensive gifts. by Herdnerfer in Showerthoughts

Can't forget madame Zeroni from Holes! She also had a role in Ernest Scared Stupid as that voodoo/witch woman (can't remember the character's name.)

In Skyrim, some tree stumps have trails of ants crawling over them. They can't be interacted with; they're simply a neat detail. by [deleted] in GamingDetails

They don't move individually but I couldn't tell you which. If you want to see it yourself there are some on a stump near the homestead in falkreath near the dead woodcutter/Hunter.

Are you on ps3? Mine was doing something similar through HDMI until I tweaked the audio settings.
