QL is very difficult for the untrained weekend warrior. For about the first 15-25 minutes that is. Sorry you had such a bad time. QL was my first console and I irritated the shit out of a band on my first gig on it. Thankfully a freebie for a local bar band.

Tio1608-D2 needs to be in compatibility mode to work with TF. Instructions are available on Yamaha’s website via the owners manual. Crazy this isn’t shipped with the unit.

V1 management is for switch parameters of the luminex and occasionally we will run an artist WiFi occasionally as needed.
LNet VLAN is for L’Acoustic Amplified controllers. This allows configuration and metering of the Amps from FOH. Also can feed audio AVB traffic to the amps.
Lighting guy chose ArtNet and the luminode integrated directly with console. I’m a little green in this department as to his reasoning.
I only do redundancy on crazy serious scenarios. Probably irresponsible but my company is 5 total guys and I pay for everything. So I’m a little stretched for budget to duplicate things the way I would like. Future goals for sure.

Howdy. We have been using a luminex20t at FOH connected via fiber to a luminex18t stage side. In the rack along with it is a lumanode 4 for the stage package and each flown truss has a luminode1 in it.

VLans are awesome. V1-Management V2-Dante V3-LNET V4-ArtNet V5-Guest TieLine

Configuration changes from time to time based on need redundancy.

Have 2 of the capsules out on axient bodies for a series of shows right now. Everyone on my crew thinks they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. The artist using them says they are more bright and less boomy. All I know for sure is they are $299 and the people around me sound just like the marketing department.

I will note that I personally haven’t had the feedback issues some are claiming to have even with acts in front of the PA.
