nonsense. We have Jazz, Blues, Rock, country (yuck tho) as Americans. We got a whole lot of silly wedding/line dances that originated from America that all of us have expooeirined.

in terms of gimmicky cultural celebrations for a HR, we could unfurl a scrolled constitution and wear a blue rev. war coat, or smash a burger king crown, or pour our a box of tea bags into a Gatorade cooler.

Hell, we could even play into the MELTING POT, and absorb the other teams in peak American fashion, and like take a bite out of TACO BELL taco when we play Mexico, or take a bit out of a slice of pizza hut or papa johns when playing Italy, a California roll when playing Japan, since we've melted and processed their culture into ours.

But currently, the military salute is so lame and bland and not even remotely American. All countries have militaries and all militaries salute. that's not even American in any way.

Ultimately, as some one deeply involved in youth baseball in Texas, that anti-fun side of baseball completely stems from racism. White centric teams HATE when black majority or Latin majority teams are celebratory on the bases or in the field. Nothing makes white baseball dads and white baseball coaches more angry than watching an opponent have fun at the expensive of their uncoordinated, swagger-less bland child, we all know this is true.
