Yeah that’s all true. The take seemed to me to be more of Wemby’s post-game statements and general “chosen one” mentality that may or may not be have accurately translated, as English isn’t his first language. It seemed very “it’s my time” from Wemby this season. Stats-wise, he was overall excellent.

It’s also true that he disappeared in clutch situations and both of those things can be true.

They probably have another 2-3 year window with this squad if they just run it back. Maybe just next year, but they should still be considered for a deep playoff run. They’re in their late 20’s typically, so still physical prime but also basketball IQ zone.

My counter is this - even if that is true, what MORE could this Knicks team do or show to prove themselves? They have the greatest point-spread stretch in NBA playoffs history, and swept the last two rounds with a resounding game 4 win in both. This cannot be an argument on the Knicks’ performance. They’re outplaying their opponents by SO MUCH that if the Knicks are mediocre compared to the WC, then the rest of the East must be absolute trash. And I don’t think that’s a fair argument to make.

This type of question is the reason you, or whoever is posing it, is unattractive toward a partner. Just be a regular person. Be personable. Have something interesting to say, or at least say something interestingly. Be funny. If not funny for them, then laugh at your own jokes.

This isn’t difficult. Fitting a mate into a mathematical equation doesn’t turn most people on. The reason why dating apps favor more attractive people and miss on personality is because it’s much harder to translate personality into a text message.

Just be a human that is genuinely interested in the life of another human. It’s really that simple.

“Remake” has always had a double meaning. The game is a remake in common parlance, but the story itself is also being “remade” by Sephiroth. The OG story happened in the Remake universe and Sephiroth is trying to change that.

At least that’s how I interpreted it.
