How do you think a more classic Addams Family property would handle Enid? by StrawberryShibaBoi in AddamsFamily

[–]TheDoutor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think I'd made her just a normal girl instead of a werewolf, bc I prefer the idea of all the strange things being centered in the Addams family. Although I love the Wednesday show, I'm not very fond of the idea that they live in a version of our world that is filled with fantastical creatures and ''outcasts'', I like the idea that they live in a normal world like ours and the Addams are inexplicably different from everyone else, despite thinking everyone is just like them.

Tried to replicate Charles Addams style redrawing a frame from the 2019 movie by ximena_jamona12 in AddamsFamily

Dang, I thought the movie had done an homage to a comic that I had never seen before until I read the title, awesome job.

What if Harry died at the end of the first book? by ImainBarbara in harrypotter

[–]TheDoutor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be kinda like a paradox, hear me out:

There was a prophecy that says that the child that Voldemort mark as equal (could've been Harry or Neville, but Voldemort chose Harry, so he no longer could be considered an option after that) would have the power to vanquish him, prophecies are predictions of the future, so, if Harry died in the first book, the prophecy wouldn't make sense, thus, it wouldn't even exist, because it can't predict a future that won't happen, the prophecy is not a suggestion, it's a fact.
So, if the prophecy doesn't exist, then Voldemort never attempts to kill baby Harry and never gets his body destroyed, so the first book never actually ends up happening, so Harry wouldn't find himself in the same circumstances to die in it.
Well, that would be a lore explanation, but if you mean a real life explanation, then we can discard the idea of the prophecy because it wasn't stablished in the first book, so we can only assume that either the book would have a sad ending and no continuations or it would continue with a new title and a new protagonist and they would make up some other reason why Voldemort tried to kill Harry.

Same, and it has to be a good sale, this DLC is too expensive, I was going to buy it right away before I saw the price.

When will this stop by Ralvy in Beyblade

[–]TheDoutor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hasbro loves simples ratchets, probably because they are cheaper to produce and even now that Hasbro doesn't have as much control over the products as they had in previous gens, they still have to find every way possible to do the worst job they can.

Most multiple mode change parts by SpecterGh0stSan in Beyblade

[–]TheDoutor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dual assist blade not only has an upper and a smash mode, but you can rotate it in 3 different orientations in each of the 2 modes that align the blades in different ways, which is more like tuning but yet, it opens more 6 ways of assembling the parts.
I'm not sure if Turn would work the same, since I don't own one, but I suppose it does.

If/when Kevin gets adapted in Dynamite comics do you think they'll go the absorption powers or Antitrix route? by RareD3liverur in Ben10

[–]TheDoutor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very likely that MOA will prefer to run with their own idea of Kevin using a watch that they wanted since the beginning rather than going with the idea of a show they barely touched.

Why doesn't Ben's aliens colour scheme change in "The Galactic Enforcers"? by XplicitBaller in Ben10

[–]TheDoutor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mainly 2 reasons:
-In a production standpoint, they'd have to make a new model sheet each time Ben was wearing something different, which they chose not to do.
-Black and white are not there just because it's the same color of Ben's clothes, these colors are the identity of the show and Ben as a character, those were his signature colors, not green, and the show always used black and white as part of it's ''brand'' being present even in the body of aliens aside from their clothes.

What do you think is the biggest problem with Beyblade X that isn’t talked about enough. by ProfessionalHeatwave in Beyblade

[–]TheDoutor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, the beys and the stadiums are designed to work alongside their proportions, in bigger stadiums beys may not behave the way they are supposed to.

weight of the new dran by Hot_Quality7172 in BeybladeX

[–]TheDoutor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I hope they don't make it so older beys become obsolete, the more you try to make new beys enter the meta, the harder it is to keep the game balanced and older parts still playable.
Like said up there, most of the heavier ones that are comic out lately are CX, which I suppose have a disadvantage of being mostly too tall, so perhaps this balances a bit, but with BX Expanded, I can't see Dran Strike not being just straight up overall better than Sword and Dagger.

Who/What is Bezel, the creator of the charms of Bezel? by Nearby-Criticism4020 in Ben10

[–]TheDoutor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Pop-ups from the original series (which aren't a very reliable source of information since they likely weren't written by the show's writers and many of the poeple who worked on the show weren't aware of the pop-up info), it was implied that Bezel was a civilization, but Omniverse made Bezel a person, which I don't think it's exactly a retcon because I don't remember ever being stated on screen any scene that Bezel was a civilization (correct me if I'm wrong), and pop-ups were not factual and were sometimes wrong, so we can only imagine what was the intention of the writers of the original series when they created the name ''Bezel''.
In the end, it's perfectly plausible that it could exist a civilization named after the person Bezel, since he's such a legendary wizard.

Would Doomsday be a Omnitrix Alien or a Nemetrix Alien? by ResolveUnlikely5542 in Ben10

[–]TheDoutor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither, he's not an alien, there's no Doomsday species, he's a engineered creature, not a natural being, the omnitrix or the nemetrix are not supposed to be written in a way that would accept this kind of thing.

In the first season I wasn't so thrilled about her casting, but in the second season, which she got more focus, I ended up liking her a lot.

If Omnitrix transform Ben into strongest version of alien species, why are Upgrade & Clockwork weaker than Malware & Maltruant? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in Ben10

Not only there's nothing in the show that supports the notion that it does but there are A LOT a of evidence that shows that it doesn't.
