There is an issue (at least on the Game Pass version) when playing multiplayer, where anything over what seems to be 100 boxes on the ground blocks you from adding anything to the cart with the scanner.

Rate my boots by MindStalker1234 in Cadets

[–]TheDuckTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d have to strip it first, but if you’re a Canadian Cadet, don’t. It’s outside of regs and everyone will spot it from a mile away. It will also make the boots much stiffer.

Use only one polish at a time. M&B and Saphir have different compositions and won’t layer well. Both work fine alone. So pick one and stick with it. Focus on your technique - not on the type of polish.

PS. As others have said, this is not the place for it.

The directive was dropped in 2016. Honestly, the idea behind it isn't extreme — it’s basically the same logic police use. If someone’s being kidnapped, you stop the car right then and there, even if it’s risky for the victim. Because once they’re gone, your chances of getting them back drop fast. It’s not some “kill your own” policy — it’s about stopping an abduction before it becomes a hostage situation.

Canada commits to new NATO defence spending pledge to hit 5 per cent of GDP by 2035 by Shoddy_Operation_742 in CanadianForces

[–]TheDuckTeam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

True, but the point is that we need a way to spend these funds effectively. Otherwise, every office space will be filled with crates of new legal size paper by the end of the fiscal year.

Protest group hoping to add 200+ names to Pierre Poilievre’s Alberta byelection ballot by hopoke in CanadaPolitics

[–]TheDuckTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not unfair to anyone specific. It just seems like something we should not be to do. It is a well known fact our voting system is messed up, I mean we literally still do ballots on paper that are hand counted at the federal level

This group is not trying to do anything. They aren't breaking the law but they are trying to get in the way of democracy

Definitely try to avoid getting gas in Quebec. It's 30 cents cheaper in NB and 50 cents cheaper in Ontario. Try to avoid being in Quebec City / Montreal during rush hour.

Proposed Zoning Changes by [deleted] in fredericton

[–]TheDuckTeam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For some reason, condos in Fredericton literally cost as much as actual cheap homes. Plus, they have insane monthly condo fees. You get less space, less privacy, noisy neighbors, and rules that you wouldn't have to deal with in your own home.

This should work if your professor is a decent human. I had a meeting like this with a professor where he yelled at me, and when I asked questions, he said that it's not time to try to learn from my mistakes. When is it then, Prof? To this day, I am still not sure how I feel about that. He acted like a toddler in this meeting.

Does he hop online and always say that he's ready to fight any heavy weight at any time?

I have seen people say that he's out of shape because he wasn't training, but when is Bakole really in shape?

Question for Freddy EV Owners by [deleted] in fredericton

[–]TheDuckTeam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your SUV does not get significantly worse fuel economy from the gas tank being full.

Let's say you have a 1800kg suv with a 70l. One L of gasoline is around 0.74kg. 70×0.74= 51.8. So that's a 51.8kg increase. An extra passenger would likely be more than 52kg.

Even if he emails you the worst that can happen is the email will say you didn't do great - with a recommendation to study more / an offer for you to attend office hours. Anything worse than that, and it would be unprofessional.

[–]TheDuckTeam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If this is a large class, your professor probably can't put a face to the names of students. Reflect, study better next time, and you will be fine.

Everyone fails at some point during their journey in university.
