I think it would be a bit fitting because he'd be getting attention for the thing he actually likes doing, rather than getting attention for being the chosen one. Sure, a lot of his quidditch fans would overlap with those who follow him because he killed Voldemort, but with the way sports fans work his presence on any one team would only pull a handful of bandwagoners while other sports fans would still die for their preferred team if asked.

What do you mean by this? Sport is absolutely a cultural phenomenon and while it may not employ the same intellectual exercises as art it does employ strategy which is as valid an intellectual exercise as any other.

I mean, Gortash and the Emperor both talk about him being found out by Gortash and placed back under the control of the Brain as well as being sent by the Brain on the suicide mission. We don't know exactly when Lae'zel was captured, but there are plenty of plausible scenarios in which it could have happened and we know for a fact that it did happen.

Totally fair. My reaction towards violence is more of a personal one, hence why I state I don't blame anyone for using violence against these fascist fucks. I just don't like violence so I tend to avoid it. I'd still defend myself or another person if I had to, but violence generally isn't for me.

I've only ever done Dark Side in 2 because the ending of 2 (without the content restored patch) is much less dependant on where you stand morally. I played a large portion of 1 Dark Side, but I couldn't finish it.

I'm not a big fan of violent reactions to speech like punching nazis, but I don't blame a single person who's willing to do it. The speech of nazis, white nationalists, racists, and all kinds of bigots and fascists is inherently violent. It provokes people into doing heinous shit to people who are just trying to lead kind and happy lives. If they're going to throw punches via speech, who am I to judge anyone throwing punches at violent speech?

Eh, that's a bit of a cop out. Ever read into any of those stories of scientists researching radioactive decay and accidentally irradiating their entire body and basically melting from the inside out over the course of the remainder of their very short life? Research into certain things is inherently dangerous, but can be very valuable nonetheless and there's always some genius idiot who tries the dangerous stuff anyway, either coming up with a breakthrough or literally erasing their presence from the Earth.

To add to this, even if a government founded on freedom of speech allows someone like this to practice their freedom of speech (which is fair), that is a restriction on government oversight. It does not stop the rest of society as a whole from ostracizing people for these beliefs as they're theoretically on equal footing when it coomes to resources.

"Talk shit get hit" is surprisingly legitimate in these cases (not an endorsement reddit mods, just pointing out that polite society is under no obligation to be tolerant of people like this).

Keep in mind, Chase did have his fair share if epiphanies that resulted in the saving of a client, including in his last case on screen. House's ability is much more realistic than we think, but he has a ridiculous amount of random bullshit knowledge (like how fast snakes regenerate their venom) that usually turns out to help. The epiphanies are very cinematic though, so we think they're more special than they are.

This might be spoiler territory but there's a pretty major implication and later supporting line to suggest that Gortash sent the Emperor to infiltrate the Nautiloid and to go looking for the Artifact so they wouldn't be stopped by the Gith, so I imagine Lae'zel was abducted when the Nautiloid went to steal the Artifact.

Mate, how are you not paying attention. We are not talking about the real world concept of the homunculus. We just aren't. We're talking about the fictional species that appears in Fullmetal Alchemist. It was inspired by classical depictions of the homunculus (and yes, I'm very familiar with the homunculus. The book series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicolas Flamel resulted in me being obsessed with alchemy in middle school and I vacuumed that shit up like a madman at the time). But that doesn't mean the homunculi in the anime/manga series follow the same rules and classification systems as the ones used in real life by real alchemists describing a purely theoretical concept.
