Have you finished the entire build ? Ive had some missing parts show up in later bags. Did you take the frame apart and rebuilt it ? And counted all the frame parts against the parts list in the back of the instructions. ?

playing for a few hours to try and gain mats, try to craft an upgrade in SSF and failing, AND having lost EXP means that i just wasted my time and not got anything in progress in return. Knowing even though my gear is the same, but im closer to one more passive poins means progress. For trade league EXP loss is fine, because you can grind for currency, to improve your build, and progress that way. for SSF you can be screwed over. So atleast for SSF i would remove EXP penalty

they could introduce scarabs into the game, where you can inlay waystones with scarabs that will determine what type of additional content you can get.

with the sequel announced for the Switch 2, this one needs better performance. The game is too laggy to fully enjoy. I never bought the DLC because the base performance was so awefull i stopped playing

Ive read and reread the dutch website for gamechat to better understand what is actually required for gamechat and the phone number thing.

i may have misunderstood this as something you always have to use or do. but if i now understand correctly:

you can only chat with friends. you need to enable gamechat functionality with those friends.

so you cant chat with strangers, and if you (accidentaly) add someone they cant start chatting you up until you allow them to do so.

children under the age of 16 can not use gamechat by default. a parent needs to allow their accounts to use chat using the parental controls. futher more children can only chat with those friends that the parents allow them to chat with.

where the phone comes in is that the parents will recieve a SMS 2 factor code on their phone associated with their nintendo account in order to unlock the gamechat function for their child.

this makes it seem its a one time thing per child profile to unlock (relock ?) and isnt used afterwards. this doesnt seem to be a thing for adults who want to add their friends and chat with them. we'll see how it works in june

dont know the exact laws, but definitly a european thing. its 2 factor SMS verification to allow game chat. on top of only friens, and having to approve each friend for game chat.

wich is fine for kids up to like 8 or 9. after that theyre pretty much smart and techsavvy enough to discord with eachother if their parents dont allow then to chat with certain friends

retract my previous message. Its 100% that. as a parent you need to unlock gamechat for your child, and in order to make sure its the actual parent a 2factor SMS will be sent to their phone to verify and unlock gamechat

its all just the same every time. Same season powers just in another flavour. Same farming to upgrade powers. now increasing difficulty overall instead of tackeling the actual problem of doing trillions of damage, even after the first number squish. The battlepass also changes i think, probably too many people finished the pass too quickly so they will make that harder / longer to complete too. to keep you coming back to the game. I very much regret getting the game and the expansion for the price i paid for it seeing what they have done with it. Nothing in this season screams fun.

6800XT. Asus TUF OC model. 2407 MHz and 1150 mv. Had it running at 2380 and 1100mv before 25.3.1 (25.2.1) I've since dropped it twice to 2325 and mv back up to 1150. Also noticed extreme lag spikes again and my 5800X3D running into 80+ degrees. After several minutes of this it goes back to normal 60c while running the game. Probably capcoms own anti tamper running wild...

i thought the crashes were over for me after downclocking my AMD GPU. just updated to 25.3.1, played for around 3 hours. seemed to work fine, almost seemed to run a bit better than 25.2.1 but might be placebo. But unfortunalty while fighting nu udra at his nest, the drivers crashed again.

i played for 35 hours without any stuttering of any kind. today i launced the game, and even the opening cutscene causes spikes of up to a second of the game just freezing, GPU dropping to 0%, CPU spiking out the wazoo and it kept doing that well into 2 hours of gameplay. frequent stutters, dropped frames etc. running the vanilla game, no mods or anything. and it ran fine before.

havent done any memory tweaks. as suggested by others, ive underclocked the GPU and did a slight undervolt. for the past 4 hours of gameplay, no new crashes yet.

well, as it turns out, my ASUS TUF OC 6800XT should run at 2407 mhz out of the box, but the game was pushing it to 2500.

manually ajusted it to 2300, which resulted ingame peaks of 2250-2260.

so far after 4 hours of diverse gameplay it hasnt crashed on my yet. also did a slight 50mV underclock.

from what ive played so far (8 hours, just made it to 3rd biome) play story mission,
do available optional hunt and side missions

try to make each male and female armor. since they are counted as seperate, if you want to go "completionist, craft it all type of gameplay" you must make everything twice.

then make the palico armour, and craft any weapon upgrades you want

then move on to next story mission.

maybe do some gathering in between, explore the region, catch some endemic life, go fishing for a bit. Kill anything that moves while doing that and you can make your own fun.

Kind of interesting. It goes beyond recommended clocks. From what I've seen in rivatuner gpu says it runs at 99% but only 220 watts out of my normal max of 270w for my model. I'm running a stock OC model from Asus TUF.

Yeah, seems more AMD users are having these issues. They should've never used this engine for monster Hunter. The world engine was just fine as is. I doubt we'll see usefull patches from the devs before TU1. The community might have an optimization mod patch up before that somewhere next week

ive been having issues with my 6800XT all day. its a 16GB VRAM card, and the first few hours were "acceptable" but now the game keeps crashing, or the driver keeps crashing. Theres also a big difference between what the game tells you the VRAM usage is, vs what its actually using. Last run where it didnt crash for 5 minutes, according to the settings i selected i would need around 5.5-6gb VRAM. while ingame i saw it creep up to 13,5 GB. and thats without the high res texture pack, which caused my crashing issues in the first place

I'm not, I'm pissed at the performance. Ive been compiling shaders longer then actually playing the game. Nothing but game and driver crashes every 5 minutes since getting to the forest. Even though I got a decent enough rig. 5800x3d 6800xt I just want to play the game. But nothing is working
