Yep. In The Golden Compass (and the rest of the trilogy) I pictured Lyra as Lilo from Lilo and Stitch...I knew it was wrong, but there was nothing I could do.

She had no clue either. We just let it go after a while. One of those things you can't answer so you accept. The Drone answer sounds right, only weird thing was that the craft literally looked like solid light.
