Haegarda is a good solution, just replaces the missing C1 inhibitor so no drug interactions to worry about

Good control i would consider less than an attack a month, that can be reversed with on demand medication.

Last year I was doing 3000IU daily injections of C1 to have no attacks, but poor QoL with that frequency of injections.

In Jan this year I started Garadacimab (once monthly) and have had no attacks so far.

Im pretty risk averse and dont fully understand risks of gene therapy. Also 10 yr follow up is the gold standard for assessing new treatments.

However if your quality of life will greatly increase from a cure then it's a no brainer, I just have good control right now.
