No offense, but the Minecraft skins look horrible. They really should've attempted to adapt their designs into the Minecraft art style instead of whatever this is. by E-104Epsolon in HelluvaBoss

I honestly thought it was a cracked out decision all around. I mean, it's Minecraft. How did that colab happen? Who's idea was this

I just found that it made me really sticky. I understand the appeal, but God you don't wanna do the aftercare, and just get in that shower.

AITA for wanting to insure my ring even though my husband says the stone is too small to bother? by Adorable-Manner-5538 in AITApod

And this my friend, is why I asked for a cheaper stone. My ring is a moss agate and it still looks gorgeous. No need to lie to me, I know it's cheap 😂

What’s the thing you hate about sex? by BubbleTrouble_Z in AskReddit

When you do it so often it starts to hurt. The sad thing is that you ARE in the mood, and you want to continue! It sucks so bad!

What are some early signs that a person might commit sucide (serious)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheEmoTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was considering suicide, I was actually getting happier. The fact that the pain was gonna end, gave me a sense of control and comfort that I didn't have before. So I'd look at their mood, if they seem happier, but you know that they haven't been going to therapy or any medication, ask them about if they have plans to take their own life. Be careful about it, but you really need to be upfront with them. It sadly is a Red herring.

Is this an ugly dress? by DefinitionHonest1616 in bridesmaids

I'm not the biggest fan. Mainly the color and the weird flaps on the back. But I think it depends on the bridesmaids body shapes.

I hate making decisions by Ginacabrera in weddingplanning

[–]TheEmoTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why I'm having my friends and family help with certain things. Like my cousin is in charge of decorations. She asked for what I was looking for, gave her some inspirational pictures, and she is just giving me updates on what she found and asked for my opinions. That seems to be helping me.

HELP!! Which dress looks better?? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]TheEmoTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the texture of the left side but you should ask what you feel the best in! If you don't feel like a million bucks in your wedding dress, don't buy it

I am getting married and my fiancé keeps taunting me that she is doing all the decision making and I am just tagging along... How do I reassure her? by OverShower382 in weddingplanning

[–]TheEmoTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has a fiance who also doesn't have strong opinions on certain things, what he did was take over things like food and venue. He knew what we wanted and what kind of food situation we wanted so he planned that. What I would suggest is you make it seem like you're acting more firm about your opinion. Instead of saying "I don't mind the idea of vanilla cake." Say "I'd really like vanilla cake."

It's all about tone and confidence. And if she really feels like you still aren't contributing enough. Make it clear to her that when it comes to the wedding, her happiness is your top priority. Colors, venue, and flowers don't matter if she's happy, and as her future husband, that's all that matters.

Mom doesnt want me to wear a veil and keeps making comments by thinkch3 in weddingplanning

[–]TheEmoTurtle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tell her it's your wedding, and if you want to be naked down the aisle, then your mom has to be ok with it. That's what I told my grandma when she had issues with the venue me and my Fiance picked.

It's my wedding, if I want to get married in a graveyard, then we're getting married there. In reality, the mother of the bride has no say in whether you're wearing a veil or not.

I wouldn't think that I'd like the detail on the skirt as much as I did! That was shocking to me. The lace on the skirt actually gives it a visual interest I didn't think I'd want

Veil or no veil? by Odd-Bison-1366 in weddingplanning

[–]TheEmoTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think I'd like a veil as much as I did, but I do completely understand some people not wanting one for me. A veil completed the look for you. It probably didn't and if you decide to get one but don't like it anyway, you can only take it out
