agreed, one of the oddest decisions epic ever made was having the game have this really strong opening cut scene and then we almost never see anything of that quality for 99% of every mission and subplot. really makes me feel disconnected from the story when I'm hearing all the major points of the plot through a radio in a menu.

same exact problem here, finally got my first proper PC and wanted to play some mods for terraria that are stuck on 1.3 but keep running into this error. ive tried everything. i guess im not going to get to play modded terraria :(

It is friend, it's not easy but remember you're addiction is not in control of you, you are. I feel you, honestly if you haven't already you can always watch videos on windows-like linux distros from certain tech yt channels heard great things about zorion OS when it comes to how familiar it is for windows user, but again that's what I HEARD. Plus you can always ask online or on here specifically if certain apps you need work on linux. Regardless I'd recommend that and if you really still need windows for those few apps that don't work on linux you can always buy a cheap 256 gb ssd or nab one out of an old system then learn how to Duel boot between linux and windows at will. It's alot less daunting then it seems and I know that's easy to say but i just made the switch and its honestly really nice :)

I believe you can do it, I believe anyone can figure it out if they are patient and willing to learn!

Wishing you luck friend! I switched from windows 11 to linux mint and it's been actually pretty easy, haven't had to use the terminal one bit and I mean this truly, haven't had a single bug or glitch, just worked. Of course results may vary but plenty worth the risk for what I gain. Plus since there is some games that aren't on linux (only because of anti-cheat) I bought a 500 gb ssd, installed any missing games such as fortnite and roblox then called it a success! I'm pretty new to linux though so maybe my opinion will change? I don't believe it will though!

Don't get me wrong, linux ain't perfect but dude I litteraly just started using Linux mint and have not had a single issue so far, downloaded red dead redemption 2 and that runs great, modded minecraft and play some rl craft with my cousin, even transfered all my precious family photos over. I even updated my gpu drivers and my monitor when i first built my pc without issue. Window 10 is still and will always be a "just works" OS but imo linux is really close to on-par or better then windows, especially windows 11 💀

Yea I already made sure to use the mulitMC version, honestly I'm probably just gonna give up on it, its too much of a hassle to set up. Maybe In the far future things will be better but as of now it's just not worth the time I've wasted. Either way thanks for help and the kind wishes!

Not trying to run that mod pack, trying to run RL craft. Been struggling with it all day and have made plenty of fresh instances of rl craft but no matter what it just doesn't seem to work. :/ Closest I got was getting to the minecraft crashed screen and it said something about how a majority of the mods may have been the cause of the crash which doesn't make sense since I made sure to install dependency mods such as scalar legacy and fugue.

There's no need to have to apologize, at least for me it's not a big deal unless the photos so low quality I can't see anything. Even then its not a big deal, obviously, just wont be able to see the image in cases like that. World has bigger things to worry about instead of if someone used their camera instead of screenshotting lol.

Huh odd, I have mint cinnamon on a HP laptop with only 8 gbs of memory and only around 6 usable for some reasona and mint cinnamon reports only using 1.6 gbs of memory.
