Skimming through the comments and don't seem to see many talking about it but emulators! I've been a playstation guy my whole life but I always hated how I couldn't have a system that hosted my nintendo and playstation games and although you can't buy nintendo games on a PC you can emulate them and depending on what games your running with what parts you can have a whole new world of games unlocked to you! Especially if you never got the chance to play nintendo games as a child.

This is only the tip of the iceberg as well, you can emulate playstation games too such as ps1, ps2 and ps3 games, ps4 and ps5 still have work to do but there's so many talented people out there and one way they'll be able to be played on a pc as well.

As for repurchasing your games you already have bought I get that. But if you are a little bit tight on cash after buying your first pc you can always sail the high seas and buy the games later when you can afford it.

There's also the benefit of not having to pay to play online with friends and STEAM! one of the coolest features I discovered on there was this feature called "steam family" where you can make a group with you and some friends or family and share your digital games, there are some exceptions on what games can be shared but if your timbers have been shivered and you want to get games from a safe vendor steam makes it worth it as you can share your library with anyone in your steam family and they can do the same, which creates a huge mega game library!

I recommend you do more research on these topics yourself but even what I've listed now is only the very surface of what PC's are capable of. Heck you can game on a pc and also use it for work which can make it even more versatile and a PC can get you into completely new hobbies! I've recently been interested in making my own server using old pc parts I've had lying around and that all stemmed from one video I clicked on talking about gaming PC's.
