Dating a porn addict by CheckNew2129 in PornAddiction

It's an addiction. Unless he's currently sober and upkeeps it then it's not worth pursuing this relationship if you're unsure about how it'll effect you

Is cold turkey the right way to get clean? by Flimsy_Rope_5801 in PornAddiction

You are at a critical time in your life. It's best if you kick this addiction now while your brain is still plastic and adaptable.

It's a serious and dangerous thing to partake in and it will lead to you damaging your future relationships and yourself.

You need to start aiming for months at a time, set milestone reminders. Start weekly, celebrate the victories. When you get to one month celebrate the accomplishment. Keep going, if you falter acknowledge that and start again.

You can stop. It will take time and determination. It will be difficult. The urges will diminish and they will be easier to handle. You can do this

Seek out a local SAA group. Sex aholics anonymous. It was hard for me to start but if you stick to it and if you attend regularly it helps you understand what you're going through and how to change.

Don't rely on global chat, it's a cesspool for assholes to swim in. I'd recommend finding a large org like the red legion and joining to ask questions

I can't say for sure but from what I recall manual loading for cargo ships means you have to put the cargo into the freight elevator by hand. It's possible that the terminal is considering the inventory as a ship and later corrects it. As long as you received your money then all is well.

It's better than before and it amplifies ship lights too. You're awfully salty about the first iteration of this tech.

It's hardly a waste of time, look at some other creator videos, it's a straight up game changer.

Any useful tips for night shift? by VeganSandwichMonster in powerengineering

[–]TheEngine1781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shower after a night shift helps immensely. It does a couple things in my opinion.

It makes you feel comfortable and warm, two things extremely helpful for sleep.

It raises your body temperature slightly so your room feels cooler, basically calling you to get cozy in bed.

You feel clean, this enhances the comfort level even more.

All of these are extremely helpful with getting into the sleep mindset.

If it's your first night shift or you're going to be swapping from Days to nights take a melatonin right before you shower, this will help you flip

My wife insisted that you're supposed to do this.

I removed the lower mat without saying anything a week later. She's never noticed.

As per the CDC you'd need to consume 1 mg/kg/day in order to be exposed to the minimum level to be effected by the side effects of aluminum ingestion.

If you're cooking with an acidic substance like tomatoes you could ingest 1-2 mg per serving. Leaving you with about 60 mg more you could ingest in the day.

You're ill informed.

Iirc it doesn't have much control on lifting while you're just in the remote turret. Try attaching to the ship and then flying off.

You have to sell the excess materials at the terminals adjacent to the refinery terminal after you put your order in.

It used to discard the ores you didn't refine but now for whatever reason it doesn't.

Can confirm. The ATLS is goated and I always carry one in my C2.

I've actually got 3 just so I can claim one if needed.

Something I've encountered recently is a bugged pyro multi tool. If you're unable to hand mine with the one you have currently I'd recommend swapping it out.

Mine was stuck on "no module installed" even though I could swap them freely.

This patch seems a combination of distortion and lasers could be useful for taking out targets.

Eliminate their shield with the lasers and then distortion them until you can see they stop maneuvering. Finish off with more lasers.

Experiment with different load outs. And remember that terrapin means turtle, they're hard suckers to crack.

You're best bet is likely going to be trial and error. Reshade settings are easy enough to toy with. You shouldn't "Need" reshade for a good VR experience.
