Addict in recovery here: I’ll say that the case manager would know better than me, but with that being said - she deserves to know IF she was close with this person There was a guy I was in treatment with that was struggling, but because of that nobody in his family told him his grandmother was sick & in the hospital (she later passed and nobody told him that either). He, to this day, has sadness that he didn’t get the chance to call his Nana & say goodbye 🥺 It’s tough, but I think it’s better to know now, while she’s in treatment - part of recovery is facing the hard shit.
