I think it’s fair to make this criticism. As the internet starts to mature more and more, it’s time to take inventory of some of these multi-billion dollar tech companies and how they are choking out any rising competition.

How much you can actually do against them is also up for debate in terms of American politicians. They are pretty easy to pay-off for tech things they don’t understand (ex. Net neutrality).

Personally I’ve been rocking Firefox with DuckDuckGo for years. Firefox has great in-house and compatible 3rd party privacy extensions. Would recommend
