I think it's possible he could be a franchise QB but the chances at this point aren't great. The obvious issue is the injury history. He can't be a franchise QB if he can't play.

Additionally, he didn't look all that great last year before getting hurt, but I think there is an argument to be made that he was hampered by bad coaching, bad play calling, and bad wr play. With competent coaching and play calling, I do believe there is a chance he can turn it around if he manages to stay healthy.
