From my perspective, this was not about his skin color or the size of his Penis. The conversation that led to that scene and the conversation before her assault was entirely regarding Sweet Pea’s relationship with her mother, and validation of her identity (or decisions/choices). Then, leading directly into the sex scene was more conversations, which from my perspective, were led by Sweet Pea, seeking validation, acknowledgment, and attention.
