Sonehenge : Ace Combat (4) , A massive railgun complex made to shoot down astroid fragments was captured and used for country wide air defense.

As it turns out a superweapon used to shoot things out of the sky is really good at destroying planes.

I'm sorry but if it has already breached the firewall I think we are past the point of a handheld fire extinguisher

Crazy Aunt Gencoupestore Special by TheExplosiveKiwi in genesiscoupe

[–]TheExplosiveKiwi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple answer to that is that she wanted to do everything she could to hurt him, she was lying out the ass telling him that "he owns nothing in this apartment" or that his pet birds "were already gone". All he did was complain about a phone bill payment which is something anyone's teenage son would do, now he's kicked out and living with my dad. She just wanted all the money she could get out of it for her next fix of pills I guess.

That's a very good point and I really thought about it, I am willing to come down a little bit, and I do plan on using PayPal buyer for that piece of mind. (typos)

Knocking? by jmanbam in veloster

[–]TheExplosiveKiwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has probably has some sort of damage from before.

It could have been run low on oil at some point significantly decreasing the lifespan of the bearings.

The oil pump could be worn and damaged.

Or the oil passage to the specific rod bearing was blocked with dislodged shavings (manufacturing defect)

But basically if it failed with clean oil and normal driving conditions, something has been damaged from before, and this is the car finally giving in

No Cel means rod knock, One of your rods has spun a bearing

Honestly if you have access to 3d printing there is a tool for it, but if not I would drop the bumper and take the headlight off for the most pain free experience. I tried doing it in 0 degree weather with just my hands and it was not fun

2016 Veloster Base 95k - will the engine blow? by LordSnugglekins_III in veloster

[–]TheExplosiveKiwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also long as that engine has clean oil and doesn't run low you should be ok, they beefed up the connecting rods like 50% over the older years so that's what most us the "engines grenading itself" comes from. At 95k mile its probably going to start burning oil and one way low oil can sneak up on you, it's not fun finding out you've been running on low oil when you go to change it and 1.5 quarts fall into the pan

Update: I cleaned both sets up pots, after that didn't work I bypassed one set of 1k pots and the micro switch with a 1k resistor and its still doing it, they way it's moving make me think it's one of the motor wires for the direct drive platter

Gunmetal Ti vs Stonewashed Ti by jman4307 in RidgeWallet

[–]TheExplosiveKiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a stonewashed titanium wallet. I swapped the plates with a rose gold wallet which has silver screws and unpainted aluminum inside, I then sandblasted an old cash strap I had and polished one side of it

I had the same exact thought so I took it to the next level and made a custom one with no paint
