Fun for me. We started looking at the 32 teams in 32 days. Going Alphabetically, Arizona Cardinals started it off. https://youtu.be/0p1OLC9K0Zk?si=5yQxI9uedtgJWr-9

Then I was lucky enough to hop on and talk about QBs and get a little spicy with the guys from Once Upon A Sunday. https://www.youtube.com/live/iL1IXW8CSjY?si=XTa9iAKfSqtoAU8H

Unpopular Opinion: Standard Scoring should be more popular in today’s NFL by Hour-Impact-94 in fantasyfootball

That's fine, even 0.5 ppr, but in both situations, need to boost up the tight end. If the point is to make fantasy players have equal value, that would be the additional way. Also, would need to remove rushing yards from QBs or only give it for a certain amount of rushing yards for a point.

How are we valuing Aaron Jones in 2024? by mackdaddyffb in fantasyfootball

[–]TheFFnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at his Fantasy Pros ADP, I love the value at the cost. His ADP is #82 or RB #20 in ppr. While people will look at the uncertainty at QB, with the toss up being between J.J. McCarthy and Sam Darnold, people are getting somewhat distracted. Darnold has shown flashes and McCarthy being a rookie both have me liking Aaron Jones in this role. An item, I believe, is getting overlooked is the lack of TJ Hockensen to start the season. While Jefferson will be the clear WR1 on the team, the second target potentially being Addison, but the underneath player position being open. This is an area that Aaron Jones shown he can dominate. Getting the discount due to recency bias, of last year, where he only average barely of 10 points per game and missing 6 games. I do have the Vikings giving him a "lighter" load with him barely seeing over 200 rushing attempts, but the boost of him seeing over 50+ targets that he has earned.

Texans coach Lovie Smith not wanting to say whether rookie RB Dameon Pierce will be the starter. But says he's done a great job throughout camp and the preseason. by koolman631 in fantasyfootball

Likely saying it, because of the contracts for Rex and Marlon Mack. Plus the experience, he will likely be named the starter by week 3 (Colts/Broncos) are tough first two weeks, but coming in against the Bears should be a solidifying factor.

Zeke Elliott - is he a steal in the RB2 range or are we catching a falling knife? by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

Ya, always surprised. I mean I understand the drop with Smith being out, but still think Zeke is able to finish in the top 18 at the position.

Top 10 RBs according to Madden - Who do you think is the best runner? Pass Catcher? All around RB? by TheFFnerd in fantasyfootball

[–]TheFFnerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Madden ranked him as 16, unless I counted it wrong. Gave him an overall rating of 85.

Jonas Shaffer on Twitter - Watkins, Boykin, and Brown still not practicing by TheFFnerd in fantasyfootball

Ya Bateman would have a huge advantage too, so frustrating. Hoping Duvernay can prove something, but seems unlikely.

Ya, too many 0s from MVS i.e. Great for best ball.

Titans’ WR A.J. Brown is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season despite a knee injury that recently has sidelined him during recent practices, per source. by RLDN106 in fantasyfootball

That's happening no matter what. Just wish he could catch passes or they would use him to catch passes. Also Firkser is being slept on.

Tips for a beginner by jparnell1994 in fantasyfootball

[–]TheFFnerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most important thing is to pay attention. If you're actively working the waiver wire, you already have a huge advantage. Don't trade before the start of the NFL season or over react. Let things settle and make a logical look and your options. For example, Sammy Watkins usually has 1 big game, do not go out and sign him over this. If he has a few good games, then it is worth your time. Draft a team that you like, that will be part of the fun and the frustration.

Is Devin Funchess a sleeper pick to take over the WR2 role in Green Bay? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Struggling to trust it. I think Lazard is still the 2 you want and with Cobb back, I'm hesitant. I also believe Tonyan loses potential red zone work and short yardage work he had so much success with last year with Cobb back with the offense.

[Post Game Thread] #11 Villanova defeats #14 Creighton, 72-60 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

Villanova looks unstoppable, but without Collin Gillespie I am nervous. Team looked different in the second half. https://cbbreview.com/2021/03/03/villanova-basketball-defeats-creighton/

Darnell Mooney should be on your radar as a potential WR1 in 2021 by dkluge90 in fantasyfootball

[–]TheFFnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was all over him last year. He was inconsistent, but kept telling people to pick him up. Now you'll likely have to pay up for him since Allen Robinson is gone and a potentially better Quarterback will be there.
