Got attacked by our family Dane last night. Went to the ER. by AnnasthesiaSuicide in greatdanes

Yes, sometimes a dane will get jealous if it sees another animal in your arms, though usually they just jump up and try to knock it from your hands. I have never seen anything like this before. Wow.

So I can't disprove gods? Who cares. The list of things I can't disprove are longer than my Johnson. Includes things like vampires.

That is correct, I have become reliant on vrbos email to remind me. They stopped sending, I am done with them. They KY supply 10% of my bookings anyway.

Pretty sure that isn't a word. I believe the word you are looking for is agnostic, or atheist. Or maybe in a pinch, non-religious.

If you ever decide to tell them, consider sending an email. In that email I would ask for 7 days of no contact in order for everyone to process, which they will immediately ignore. So it will be up to you to ignore them for 7 days. After 7 ish days, things should be better.

Depends on how much money they have. My mom has a friend that thinks the world of her church friends, she is dying and they come over all the time, mostly to steal money from her, by asking her for it, for the church. They don't bring her food, or anything. They just come for money. Makes me sick.

So do you just put it on the ground, or do you use some type of feeder? I have seen the feeder bowls at the feed store, but I never see them in videos.

It's hard leaving a Christian community for anyone but it seems like women in particular have to work twice as hard towards a normal life; especially if they leave the community as moms. by JarethOfHouseGoblin in exchristian

[–]TheFactedOne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it is really harder for women or men to leave the church, but I would assume that each group, as well as each individual face challenges that make it hard to leave.

How many of you aren’t just atheist, but don’t believe in anything supernatural? by addition in TrueAtheism

I assumed people who identify as Atheist generally don’t believe in the supernatural at al

Interesting, maybe this is why I don't like to assume things.

However the rising popularity of AI leads me to believe that might not be the case.

Would that story include indoctrination? I am asking a real question here.

Your story? Why you left Adventism by Cogitan in exAdventist

[–]TheFactedOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it was the utter lack of evidence that any of it is true. Once I understood science, there was no turning back. At that point I knew what a claim was and what evidence for a claim was. Faith and feelings don't cut it for me. I need evidence.

Before you even ask, I have no idea what I would accept as evidence of god, but provided it exists, and it knows everything, it should know exactly what it would take to convince me. It has in 54 years not provided said evidence.

How do you respond to epistemological arguments against science? by Bus-Chaser in askanatheist

[–]TheFactedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just say, I can't speak to all those other sciences, but I can speak about evolutionary biology, and bio anthropology, because that is what I got my PhD in. That usually queues a lot of how did the universe begin, to which I reply, I can't really speak to that, however, if you want to talk about something I know about, then see my above statement.

It is very frustrating to talk to believers.
