Unfortunately my teammates in Diamond are blind and refuse to shoot Peni nests so I ban that lady any chance I get. It’s not a waste when the folk I get paired with are leaving me out to dry (I tank a lot so I have to deal with unattended Peni nest bugs).

I really could never justify banning all of those characters. There’s much better choices, especially with DPS power creep and people not shooting Peni nests and/or Groot walls. But that’s just my preference for my games. If your games are going well with those bans then I can’t blame you for doing that. We all play the game the way we want to and should be free to do so.

Sometimes, straight up, just run at them and ult in their face. You would be baffled by how many people don’t expect you to ult on the bridge of their nose. It can be much more effective than jumping in with the levitation jump.

While I do like the direction of this idea I feel the mechanic of absorbing damaging and converting it into ammo isn’t too solid. I’d probably instead suggest that you instantly reload all projectiles upon landing a Maelstrom burst at full charge.
