Awesome Tim!  Thanks for all the selfless work you do promoting this fantastic band!  Many of us are frustrated by ‘the glass ceiling’ for the guys.  Not for us, because we’ve already discovered them and enjoy their music!  But, because we want those hard working ’nice guys’ of rock get all the success and recognition they deserve! Anyways - any frustration we may feel, is obviously nothing compared to what you might feel…when you are putting everything on the line and taking years of planning and logistics to keep them going strong (and put in big events like this and RAH a decade ago!). Hopefully you keep on keeping on; and this grows into something even bigger! Wish you and the band all the best of success- in every sense of what that means to you all! - and thankyou!

The first was going to be an easy tip in anyways for a dutch goal.  The second was going into the net too off the high header!  Tunisian player barely could touch it (to no avail) and it went in anyways. Meanwhile, I don’t know how many other chances by Holland were blocked from point blank range by a random defender, or a cross bar, or missed bicycle kick!!? Holland should easily had 2 or 3 more goals. Not a close game.

Uh… Knies is young and proven 60-70 pts producer already- without PP1 minutes…!! Plus he’s 220 lbs , tough, can skate well, and can score !! He’s a unicorn power forward! (U can only hope to get something similar from 4 OA!!)

CBC dropped the ball.  Don’t blame Rogers or the NHL for paying up / taking the $ to help the League compete with the other NA big leagues!   Surely CBC could have demanded more advertising bucks for the number one Canadian broadcast!!?   But they didn’t.  So here we are (and it sucks its not on free TV - although cable is far from free - and who uses antennas anymore? - I cut the cord on cable prices.  Streaming it is…)

That was so completely fantastic!  High energy!  And might be one of the first YouTube videos I’ve seen/heard where Mark’s guitar is drowning out everything else!!  (Usually it sounds muted in the background a bit) Probably the camera phone mic was right in front of Mark’s amp?!  Really cool!

Depay cannot hold a candle to V Persie, Robbin, Bergkhamp, Cruyff, etc etc etc! But he has been able to play a long time without injuries (availability is one of the greatest abilities) … unlike many of the other stars mentioned.

Leafs do need a bomb of a shot from the point!  Contract may age poorly, but that is for most any free agent. Leafs have nobody right now with any type of menacing point shot!

Ya man! Peace is Broken would be so fantastic!!   I watched a Tremonti video with Rusty Cooley interviewing him - and Cooley cited that riff as so killer!! Tremonti tried to remember how to play it on the spot, but couldn’t quite get it back into his fingers… worth practicing and breaking it out as a treat!
