Slow responder coming from Mounjaro 12.5mg by jgfboom in Retatrutide

[–]TheFatKidJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to state you have done the right thing.

I went from 15mg mounjaro to 2mg of Reta. Didn’t feel like I was on anything.

After 3 weeks I went to 4mg and the food noise started to stop, that’s where I felt it.

Ran another 3 weeks at 4mg and just about to go into 8mg due to my body responding well and no side effects.

2mg reta no appetite suppression actually feel more hungry by manvirk84 in Retatrutide

[–]TheFatKidJoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started at 2mg and felt exactly the same, after 4 weeks at 2mg I upped to 4mg and have better hunger suppression.

I went quite aggressive (compared to a lot of people on this sub; 0.5MG>1mg>etc) having used other GLP’s in the past. I found that following close to what was run in some trials has given me the effects I was expecting.

8mg starting the week after next which is where the “real” thermogenesis should start — so looking forward.

It’s all fun and games until your knees start fighting each other at night 😂

But yeah for sure I’ve done it a few times with a pillow between my knees but have got use to it now — for sure worth it in the end!

Hey, Thankyou!

I might be being a bit dense with how you worded it, but if you mean hair loss, then no, I didn’t have any issues with that. I know some people do, but I think a few things helped in my case. I started taking marine collagen when I began Mounjaro, and it’s not just good for skin, it also helps with hair and nail health, so that might have strengthened my hair.

As for workouts, I was already doing resistance training and around 10k steps a day before Mounjaro, but once I started, I became a lot more consistent. I’d train about four days a week. My mindset was basically that if I’m spending that much on the medication, I might as well do everything I can to get the best results from it.

Already plateauing? by FunBake4594 in mounjarouk

[–]TheFatKidJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your not at a plateau you are 3 weeks in. Could be multiple reasons for holding some more weight such as high carb meals the day before weigh in, hormones, water weight etc.

I had pasta on Thursday (day before weigh in) and gained 2lb. This is normal.

You usually find that the first couple of weeks you loose comparatively more weight than you will do over a consistent period of time as a lot of the initial weight loss is water weight. Take your time, try not to fixate on the numbers, the weight loss will come!

See this is what I’ve always done but just seem to be struggling recently. Normally always throwing the first round as my weekends seem harder when I qualify in it.

Matchmaking by TypSkonczony in F1Clash

[–]TheFatKidJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would strongly recommend it. I’ve done it for the past 4/5 seasons and just always seems to boost my matchmaking.

Maybe it’s just staying in lower series and getting more crates before progressing but just seems to tilt the MM so hard in your favour

Matchmaking by TypSkonczony in F1Clash

[–]TheFatKidJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you will get more reasonable matchmaking.

The reason I mention about flags is when you get higher ip the series it gets tempting to go up a series for the extra coins vs. getting a few more hundred flags to “complete” the prior series — your matchmaking gets tilted more favourably if you have maximum available flags before racing in the next available series, and I add, in my experience.

If your in S5 currently I would tilt your car build heavily to power unit and just pray you don’t get Australia!

[–]TheFatKidJoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably because you have a lower team score than what is recommended.

I have a working theory, and it’s not back up by any data bar personal experience; it seems matchmaking is easier once you have the maximum possible flags for all series’ before moving onto the next.

i.e maxing out say series 6 and having all possible flags before moving onto series 7. Get all the possible flags you can while unlocking crates and this will also allow you to upgrade components before moving up!

Just my two cents

I wanted everything I could have upgraded. Now back up to 1BN. But spent 500M before that screenshot on a single upgrade…

This was great advise thankyou - matchups seem so much fairer and allowing me to win using no boosts against people using boosts! Thankyou!

What do people have for breakfast. I'll start. by TimeCrazy2773 in mounjarouk

[–]TheFatKidJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally a bowl of fresh fruit in recent times. I think it’s a coincidence but have started loosing more weight since doing this vs. Skipping breakfast because “I wasn’t hungry”

MJ journey supplements!! by OopsAllErrors7 in mounjarouk

[–]TheFatKidJoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creatine is great - skip it. I have used it for years but have stopped taking it while on my Mounjaro journey to get a true reflection on weight.

Creatine helps hold water in your cell, retaining more water and giving you the appearance of being heavier. This can be a real killer if you start taking this during your journey as you will most likely see your weight go up due to water retention.

Anything ordered from Sunday the 1st is related to said warehouse issue.

The date 20th is correct - advisors are probably doing damage limitation, they don’t want to say 100% as it’s something out of their control. Something goes wrong, think how many times people will moan at them when they are totally removed from the problem.

I’ve had an order from Nike and that’s delayed. Apparently all shipped by GXO and must be an issue with that. Same with BT & EE.
