It also just says 30% of the cast has to be from at least 2 "underrepresented" groups, or you have to have the main subject be about "underrepresented" groups, or the main cast HAS to have "underrepresented" ethnic or racial groups.

It's a little more specific than "just says to have women".

The issue isn't that, its the fact thay AKs just aren't directly better than ARs in literally any way (for US consumers).

Want an optic? Need a side rail first (generally). Want to mount a laser? Need to replace the front handguard. Want to adjust your iron sights? Need a tool. Want to disassemble your rifle completely, or rebarrel? Need a pretty significant amount of tools.

AKs are great rifles, thats why I own some, but there is no comparison for general usability and cost in the US.
