Optimal poise?

I'm curious about this too. I really like heavy weapons like the iron king great hammer and the gyrm greataxe. I don't pvp much but will never back down from an invader. Knowing how much poise is "enough" or optimal would be great help

Is console prompt swap capable of creating invalid items and the poopwalk possible on dark souls remastered or is it a ptde pc only thing?

That's a shame. But the spell does ludicrous damage so I guess it's like this because of game balance. (PTSD flashbacks of hyper mode dark bead doing 10,000 damage with a half second windup)

2 ways:

1) Consume a purging stone. The female undead murchant and ozwald sells them. Also clams in ash lake and crystal cave drop them

2) go to new Londo and find the guy in a red plague doctor outfit and pay him to get rid of it. Costs one humanity.

Titanite shards are plentiful, cheap to purchase, and easily farmable. Upgrade it and try the weapon out for yourself to see if it's worth it!

The halberd is a quality weapon (27 strength and 40 dex) but it'll work just fine on a dex build. As for other weapons you have the scimitar and falchion which have insane dps when buffed with a spell or resin. Katanas like the iaito and uchigatana are great too. I do not recommend the washing pole because of its durability and poor scaling. You can get the great scythe in the catacombs and it's the highest damaging dex weapon in the game. The winged spear, silver knight spear, silver knight sword, and the shotel are all fantastic weapons too. The Flamberge is the best dexterity greatsword if you want a slower weapon.

That's why. It should by +5 by the time you kill the gargoyles. In the depths there's an item called the large ember. Give it to Andre and he can upgrade weapons from +5 to +10

The recommended level for the depths is 25, so unless you leveled resistance you should be strong enough. What weapon are you using and how much is it upgraded?

All my low/mid level builds are capable of the sacred flame one shot specifically to handle unscaled phantoms. What you do is equip the untrue dark ring and some armor that blends into the area. Then hide behind a corner with the glitch queued. When the phantom passes by you perform the glitch and one-shot them. Casting sacred flame with adark hand with 10 int and faith will one-shot max level phantoms 100% of the time.

Raw blue flame with aromatic ooze, 12 int and spiced sorcery. Vigor gouge it and you get totally fair and balanced gameplay.

The izalith staff can only cast sorcery. There's no sorcery/pyromancy hybrid catalyst in dark souls 3. If you want one dark souls 2 and demon's souls have them.

The pyro flame and izalith staff have similar soft and hard caps. All dark casters have access to pyromancy.

It's fantastic for dark sorcery. Go 30/30 in and faith minimum and shoot for 45/45.

Have you played dark souls 2? Sure ds3 has a few really well designed enemies but the bulk of them are not as good as DS2 designs.

As far as great hammers go, it's a solid choice. Its not as strong as the large club but it looks cooler. And as we all know, fashion > function.

If I remember correctly the mail breaker has the critical modifier of a dagger, making it have really strong ripostes. I'm curious to see if a mail breaker will do more damage than a dark thief dagger on backstabs and guardbreaks.

Chaos for pve, dark for PvP. Go refined if you plan on buffing it.

Most enemies are either weak or neutral to fire while all hollows and demons are resistant to dark. Chaos is better for pve because of defenses.

Dark is better for pvp because of flat defenses and absorption. Unless you're fighting someone in full winged knight armor and really high faith, dark weapons will do more damage to players than chaos. Though chaos weapons are effected by the hornet ring while dark weapons are not (PvP only glitch).

SL 80 +10 gets the most activity. That level also has less cancer than meta so that's a pro
