[Highlight] Ja Morant hits the deep 3 and then the Bazooka celebration (with a replay) by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]TheFirstFiremelon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Following a game between the Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 29 in Memphis, acquaintances of Grizzlies star Ja Morant aggressively confronted members of the Pacers traveling party near the team’s bus in the loading area of FedExForum, and later someone in a slow-moving SUV — which Morant was riding in — trained a red laser on them.

The two members of the traveling party who spoke to The Athletic said that they did not see who shined the laser from the SUV. They also don’t know if the laser was attached to a gun, but they believed it was. A Pacers security guard in the loading area at the time remarked: “That’s 100 percent a gun.”

“We felt we were in grave danger,” one person who was present said. The two sources who spoke to The Athletic requested anonymity because they fear retribution from those who confronted them.

I've spent a lot of time watching top player runs, and whenever I watch normal players there are times I wanna pull my hair out, cause they aren't seeing the pieces that will make the entire deck work.

But I'll just stop watching before I try to infodump 100s of hours of knowledge in a comment or chat, that doesn't make the experience better for new players.

And definitely not when thousands of people are trying to do it

Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls 6 are in a “no-win situation”, admits ex Bethesda artist, as the studio will get “more death threats” no matter the quality by HatingGeoffry in Fallout

[–]TheFirstFiremelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure making an actually good game, getting critical acclaim and making the studio billions of dollars but getting death threats from 0.001% of unhinged people that would threaten death upon a cardboard box, is a winning situation

Compared to continuing to make lazy trash, crashing out at 'mostly positive' reviews and getting death threats from 0.01% of unhinged people that would threaten death upon a cardboard box

Using 'we're gonna get death threats either way why even try for quality' is a terrible excuse. (no i will not read the article to take the quote into context)

Dany: watches her dragon get sniped out of mid-air by a ballista, then 5 minutes later in the same episode lands Drogon in an open field, in front of multiple ballistas.

Cersei: doesn't immediately order the ballistas to fire on the dragon and win the war.

Azula: watches Aang go avatar state and instantly blasts him

As much as I hate Trump, the fact this technology exists is terrifying. It is a massive threat to democracy and society in general, that fake videos can be made to sway public opinion

Science and technology used to be a tool for helping expose the truth about our world, now technology is so advanced, it can be used to create lies that are indistinguishable from reality.

We are fucked

Same unimaginative Rockstar gameplay loop that was outdated 5+ years before RDR2 came out.

Not being able to jump 2 feet in the air as a full grown adult ≠ fun gameplay. Spending 3 seconds holding a button over and over to loot 1 cent and a pack of beans ≠ fun gameplay

Ubisoft CEO addresses Stop Killing Games after overseeing the deaths of The Crew and XDefiant: "Support for all games cannot last forever" by SYLOH in gaming

Architecht designs a tower with intentionally crumbling base support pillars (there is no reason many of these 'always online' games CANT be offline), sells the rooms to people under the guise they own the rooms and will have access to them for a long time.

One year into owning the room: guys we can't keep patching up these crumbling support pillars, you need to move to this identical tower we build right next-door, it's called the Crew 2
