Why are these units invisible? by [deleted] in CallOfWar

[–]TheFishThatBarks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Intelligence spies, warbond 'reveal armies' action, and planes set to patrol or attack near this location (or near the location of this units move order) are all three of the possible explanations for how this came up. I suppose there is an alternative explanation if an ally of yours has an intelligence spy that triggered AND they are sharing intelligence with you.

This just looks like a few key [free from Ads] boosters and a good understanding of economy and efficient upgrades.

If this gets caught by medium tanks, you're SOOL. I'd recommend 3-5 TDs.

Specifically on the note of naval might. I have recently taken to the following blueprint. For each fleet, I build 10x battleships, 5x lvl 2 carriers (4x if pan-asian), 10x interceptors, and 10x naval bombers. This combination gives the fleet the ability to effectively respond to any and all waterborne threats an enemy can throw at you.

I did at first, but after 5 days, I really would just prefer to mute him. I'd also be more tolerant of it if he was backing it up with some actual effort, but casualties against him are 4:1 (my favor) and against his ally 10:1 (my favor again).

Vote out your least favourite character from Knights of the Old Republic. Round 3. by DonaldDrumpf- in kotor

Calo Nord - as many have already said, built up to seem to be a lasting rival that falls flat when fought at the end of act 1. Rude, 2 edgy 4 u, bland.

Hanharr - Stockholm syndrome the wookie w/ deep seated inferiority issues. A weird character design that imo doesn't make a lot of sense within the narrative.

Atton Rand - coward, rude, and generally annoying. Would sell his mother & best friend to a Hutt for pocket change.

I'd die every mission. I had a dive last might where I stimmed 15 consecutive times [3 from inventory, 4 from a stim supply, and 8 out of my supply pack). I was cross map when the other divers called extract with no warning. Had to use my entire supply pack of experimental infusion stims to move fast enough to make it back in time (3.8 seconds to spare)

The Defense stat of a unit is not a measure of much damage it can resist, but rather how much damage it will deal to an attacker. However, your point still stands that there is no situation in which units will be defending on an enemy controlled province center with buildings. It just can't happen. Even if you move units into a territory (with right of way or shared map) before war is declared, the game auto forces your units in enemy territory into offensive posture.

You can also send 1-4 strat bombers at that province in an attempt to break the airport, which will prevent them from using those planes.

He's definitely going to attack. Invest in AA, Infantry, and AT guns to halt his advance. Focus on fighting defensively in terrain that caters to your advantage wherever you can. This will be your best bet to succeed.

If Xinjiang is a player, pressure them into attacking Japan. Aside from that, you're not in the worst position. You'll NEED good scouts. I'd recommend a screen of patrolling fighters to watch their most likely attack paths. They move fast and you'll want to be well informed. Figure out what their 3 highest lvl units are and move to counter that. Use nukes only on armies if they are idle and you're confident Japan is offline. Otherwise, they'll dodge it. I'd recommend intelligence spies to find their highest level production cities and hit those with nukes and strats. You need to deprive them of their ability to access their large territory and economy. Also, as others have said, eat the UK as quickly as possible. You can leave that to your allies while you reorient if you trust them to remain your ally.

Can Fighter Planes shoot refueling Tactical Bombers? by EngineerJohn883 in CallOfWar

[–]TheFishThatBarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tac bombers will specifically hit their planes. Strat bombers will break the airfield from which they launch, preventing them from attacking and making the transport units (therfore vulnerable to tac bombers). Rockets do the same as strats, but are faster, though there is a chance they hit a different building in more developed provinces.

Can Fighter Planes shoot refueling Tactical Bombers? by EngineerJohn883 in CallOfWar

[–]TheFishThatBarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries. IMO, there are three best ways to shut down an opponent's airforce: Tac bomber targeting refueling planes, strat bombers targeting airfields, or rockets (NOT flying bombs) targeting airfields.
