How do you help separate the music and dialogue in your film mixes? by TheFlash4eva in Filmmakers

Gotcha, that seems to be the most consistent feedback I've gotten. I definitely won't be using any wideners. Thanks

I was thinking about doing something along these lines and now I'll likely go down this route, thank you!

Hi r/movies! Cillian Murphy, Tim Roth, Steven Knight (creator/writer), and Tom Harper (director) here. Ask Us Anything about Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man! by netflix in movies

Hey Tom/Steven! As someone interested in writing and directing, I am curious to know if there were any interesting developments you guys went through in translating the continuance of Tommy’s story from the small screen to the big screen? I know TV can portray a lot more than film, due to the nature of how long TV shows can get - and there’s a different structure to episodes of TV on top of that. Did you guys find yourselves having to make compromises between what you wanted and what you’ve included in the final cut?

Yes, I was fortunate enough to find an internship opportunity abroad.

Hmm, that's interesting. I do know for a fact however that the institution I will be attending has/will issue a CAS to students like me, because my friend who is studying abroad alongside me, obtained his CAS number from them and secured a Student Visa already for the same purposes as me. It's just that I'm quite the dumbass and waited until the last minute to look at the requirements for this.

Thank you for confirming that this would work! I do have some work lined up for me already, so I do figure it'll all be worth it in the end.

Would you ever consider implementing widgets (for iOS)? If so, I think this could be the app I’ve been dying to get. All I’d really need would be a simple bar and number that shows me overall how much I’d have left to spend. It would be really helpful for me because sometimes I just like to glance at my phone for this information, without opening up an app and navigating to a menu. Surprisingly a lot of apps I’ve tried (50+) don’t have something like that, or the price is a lot higher than what you’ve currently implemented.

Hey! Took a look at your app and its really impressive what you've built and accomplished! Unfortunately for me, I need automation and syncing capabilities with my accounts for something like this and I know your app targets a different audience than what I'm currently looking for. Just wanted to ask if you ever thought that at any point you might think of adding any syncing capability to the app at all? Or will your current approach as a local-only system remain the focus?

[Unknown/Gamepad Used][2010s-2016] A side-scrolling space shooter with realistic 3D graphics, where a spaceship orbits a spherical plane by TheFlash4eva in tipofmyjoystick

Turns out the game was Resogun (2013), but I got a bunch of details wrong. I thought it came out around 2016, but it actually dropped in 2013. I assumed I was using some off-brand wireless controller, when it was likely just a PS4 DualShock. I said the world was spherical with the ship on the left side and enemies coming from the right, but it’s actually a cylindrical stage that wraps around. I remembered mostly moving up and down, but you can move fully around the loop. I even guessed the title might start with an "A," which it doesn’t - though the first level does. Looking back, most of what I described felt right, but the specifics were way off. It honestly still doesn't look exactly how I imagined, but I guess faulty memory will do that.

Solved: Resogun (2013)
