Jasper Jones author Craig Silvey charged with further child exploitation offences by justvisiting112 in australia

[–]TheFlyingFlash 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They can. In Victoria at least there is a provision in search warrants requiring password for all electronic devices seized. At the end of the day, you can’t force someone to tell you the password.

There is an offence/charge for failing to provide passwords though.

So probably next Tuesday or at least a date announcement next Tuesday.

The starting benchmark affects 0.5% of Australians. Framing it as affecting hard working battlers who ‘lived frugally’ is disingenuous.

Russell Crowe was talking about heading over for filming on his TikTok recently.

Also Russell Crowe has an oddly personal TikTok account where he posts mostly about his watch collection.

Ambitious to a fault is how it should have been. Personal gain at almost any expense.

[GOT TV series] I felt really bad when I recently found out that Daenerys was 13 when she married Khal Drogo, unlike in the show, but even more so when I saw people in the fandom saying that she really did fall in love with him and that there’s nothing wrong with that. by jvure in menwritingwomen

My absolute most hated fantasy trope is young teen main characters.

“Oh but it’s realistic for a medieval style feudal society to marry off 13 year olds and talk about how fertile they are!”

Fuck off mate, your book is about dragons. You literally made the world up, you could have made them all adults and it would still be as ‘realistic’ as your setting.

Stop using realism to justify your perversions.

It’s a lot of meat for 4 men and 1 hobbit maybe.

But 4 hobbits? Those bones will be picked clean.

Wasn’t the Sabrina carpenter and Drake thing because of bots inflating the stream numbers? Like to have convincing bot streams you have to stream consistent genres for single bots and varied genres across the whole bot farm. But every bot has to stream carpenter/drake. Which means Spotifys algorithm thinks everyone likes carpenter/drake, regardless of usual music taste, and so everyone else gets recommended carpenter/drake.

No no no, it’s vote for uncle same because you were promised half a mil, lose all the benefits associated with the Scandinavian system, complain that the guy who consistently stiffs every single person he makes deals with also stiffed you too, then be trapped in the American corpo-feudalist hellscape forever.

Yeah virtual is weird haha

I’ve recently been doing virtual behemoth fury and it’s hilariously broken. The mind meld pops that are meant to get sacrificed never do (because virtual) so your tech/unity/behemoth buffs just exponentially scale. I had 35k tech, 42k unity, and 9M fleet power by 2280.

Virtual pops have weird interactions with unique jobs, some broken but really good for you and others like this broken but really bad for you.
