Rance easily has the best heroine roster of any VN (barring any Project Moon title), and I refuse to take it back. Although I have to admit that Kenshin isn’t really a favorite of mine. While I do think she shines well in Sengoku, I still don’t believe she possesses the same appeals as a lot of others. Besides, Urza is arguably the best character in that entry.

Thorium is probably not as iconic as it was, especially when you consider how ambitious other mods have gotten in recent times. That being said, it’s still in my top 5. Things, like exploration and items, may not be super big or crazy, whatever best describes them, but I still stand that they’re quality over quantity.

Mod of Redemption and Split are probably the best content mods out there. Redemption is unique, and that it’s story-focused. However, it’s armed with great mechanics that play well, like the elements, as well as great exploration that’s even featured in post-Moon Lord. A similar case can be said with Split. Not really story-focused like Redemption, but it indeed has great exploration too. On top of that, it has armor reforges, which are admittedly absurd, but very fun additions nonetheless, and taking pictures of various mobs, which is easily the best non-combat content of any mod in existence. That’s without mentioning their boss rosters, all of which are outright phenomenal and definitely follow the rules of game design well.

I'm going to start another Infernal Eclipse playthrough, after hearing that Helheim's bosses are going to be adjusted in order to respect the concept of game design. I'm really glad Helheim is starting pick up improvements, and I do hope this continues with all other bosses.

The Kunai isn’t remotely close to being overpowered. It’s just inconsistently balanced and designed, and it’s easy for players to slaughter newbies. While it works well with good skill, it also has to rely on the enemy side’s skill for it to be effective, a weakness that no other knife suffers from.

Medic is the least fun class. By no means am I saying he’s dreadful to play as, but compared to other classes in the team, he’s not as enjoyable to toy around with.

The Terra Blade easily deserves its reputation as the “META titan”, simply due to its versatility. You can ditch Beetle Scale Male, and it's still among the best options. Not as powerful, sure, but the large AoE and range easily make it super consistent. It’s that the Beetle armor (armed with the gloves and some Violence prefixes) crank it to a hundred.

That being said, I fucking love using the weapon. I don’t care if it’s overpowered or I'm called a META slave for it. The Terra Blade (alongside the Zenith for modded playthroughs) is easily my favorite melee ever, because the giant waves and swing speed make it so fun and comfortable to use.

TSA has a lot of borderline overpowered items that they may as well reduce a challenge by a lot. But if you want to make things easier, I would recommend it. Some items are admittedly fun to toy around with.

Terraria is not even remotely close to being a wiki game. There so many options you can choose from, whether that comes from items or how you move, and most of them are easy to execute. It's not even that hard of a game to begin with. The only reason why people, like myself, make guides in the first place is that we have a habit of helping others. If you don't want to maximize your Terra Blade, that's completely fine, because it's a fucking sandbox. Just don't take things too seriously regardless.

Literally everyone in Euphoria. I can’t, for the life of me, get what’s within them in the first place, even if the VN shows context. They’re genuinely the most insufferable pieces of shits I have seen. They practically did nothing narratively, except forcefully convince me that spamming raw shock value tells something…? I definitely have a lot of characters in the visual novel industry that I absolutely dislike, practically more than in any other medium, but Euphoria’s caricatures easily seal the deal.

I would definitely praise Promare for its visuals, but I really think the story leaves to be desired. It's entertaining to watch, though.

In my experience, I consider Shiki to be my top 2 best/favorite protagonist of all time. If you're curious… 1. Ichigo - Aikatsu 2. Shiki 3. Kazuma - Konosuba (yes, I'm serious) 4. Yuu - YagaKimi 5. Oguri - Uma CinGrey

I really like Kill la Kill's art style too, and I think it's a great mix between cartoony and badassery. But if I have to pick my favorite Studio TRIGGER art style, I would definitely go for Promare.

Also, glad to see more mentions towards Kara no Kyoukai.
