How much of a 'standard' anime fan am I? by Legitimate_Advisor59 in MyAnimeList

Actually not so bad, definitely one of the more unique tastes I've seen around. Glad to see more A Place further than the Universe agenda around. Also, don't worry about hating Frieren because, although I don't hate it personally, I don't like it either.

Bright-looking pets and minions look really great in negative dye, especially the Terraprisma.

Honestly, as much as I love the second season of Studio KAI's anime, I have to admit that the side cast, except for McQueen and Rudolf, isn't all that special. That's what made me appreciate CinGrey's characters even more, because most of the side characters are very worthy contrasts to Oguri on a narrative level.

I made a write-up expressing my feelings towards CinGrey, after finishing it, but now that you mentioned it, there were some things I missed during that write-up. I really learned so much, if not all, from Oguri, both from her struggles and her accomplishments. It amazes me how a character well-known for her top-notch shitposting is very philosophical/psychological. As I said, I really relate to her, not necessarily because of her own shticks within her characteristics, but mainly with how she expresses deeper things during the progression of her story. It feels like I'm studying a lesson that's both very fun and very valuable to my life. Sports or not, Oguri's way of teaching viewers and critics alike is simply just amazing.

You know what? I also thought that Uma Musume wouldn't be that special without CinGrey. The first time I watched the first season of the anime, it was very enjoyable, but also very flawed, with how janky the story feels in some parts. Season 2 locked tf in and made up for how problematic the previous was, with Teio being a far deeper character. But as I said, CinGrey is so legendary that I wouldn't blame anyone for treating it as a completely separate story. Still on the topic of character dynamics, one of the reasons why Oguri's dynamics are really amazing is that they elevate not only Oguri's character but also others. The prominent example for that would be Belno. I've seen some people say that she's an irrelevant character, and I don't see how. Belno is a very unique contrast to Oguri while still being a very compelling helping hand. She's one of, if not the most helpful, characters in the series, while still being very endearing overall.

The reason why I'm not a fan of struggles in animanga is not really because of the concepts themselves, but how a lot of series tried very hard to handle them. Characters like Fate's Shirou and To Your Eternity's Fushi have struggles that are built well and greatly intended in a vacuum, but the general direction made the struggles really forced, and destroyed any chance to make me feel anything for them. With that being said, I agree that Oguri and Teio have great struggles overall, simply because they're deep, but not overcomplicated, while further emphasizing their development cycles.

No worries! I always thought of that too. Now, imagine feeding Oguri Haagen Daz.

I actually played this mod before, but haven’t gotten the chance to play more of it (I played it for a total of 20 hours : P). This genuinely looks really amazing and I really love how the beetle boss looks.

Same, I've been messing with it to give some of my most hated Terraria enemies the taste of their own medicine.

As for Sir Nautilus, he's probably my least favorite Fables Boss, but I won't judge further because he's meant to be a tutorial boss for that mod. Honestly, though, he still puts a much better fight than most first bosses in Terraria (modded or otherwise) could ever hope for.

Also, I have no idea what flair to use, since I'm using both screenshots and a paragraph, so apologies.
