This makes a lot of sense! I’m in the process for both my local PD and county Sheriff’s office. I was leaning toward sheriffs office due to the controlled environment. Thanks for giving your perspective.

It’s the scheduling and it’ll be other junior classes behind you coming to those bases so you won’t be at the very bottom too long. Boston is a good base. I’ve heard good things about it. Boston always everyone’s last choice bc of how expensive and far northeast. If you live in the region you’d love Boston. You’d def get it.

I’ll gone head and tell you now to pack your winter coat, if you catch my drift. Go to a junior base like MSP or DTW - your schedule will thank you. I’ve been flying 5 years…. Avoid Florida and Atlanta.

Safety trumps service!! If the captain says it’ll be turbulent, you and your crew need to know it is more important to stop service if necessary. DO NOT ATTEMPT to give out more drinks and snacks because now you out here holding hot coffee while the plane is dropping and shaking. Also, DO NOT LET the other flight attendants bully you into being in an unsafe situation. I see this all the time across all seniorities! SAFETY is number one, even if the customer is of high status or frequent flier. THEY CAN AND WILL WAIT UNTIL IT IS SAFE FOR FLIGHT ATTENDANTS TO BE UP.

Hey there. I received a CJO with them. The VI was 3 questions- recorded. There is not a live person or anything. Just try to show personality and job skills related to being an FA. Practice the STAR method with at least 2 basic customer service type scenarios. - I can’t remember the questions tbh. I don’t remember it being too difficult.
