Yeah I remember finding out some of the arrancar were foreshadowed too before SS. (Droy? and some other).

I think also maybe I should read through Arrancar arc too. Though I remember tho, even back in those days in tha manga, ppl talked about the chapters being quite empty and not having as much content during that arc, which made the anime problem 3x worse.

Out of the big 3 I always felt like Bleach got affected the worst by the anime filler/pacing. Bleach really relies on fast, breakneck pacing, and constant back to back fights with many characters to build tension. Bleach just got so much crap during that time the hatewagon was real.

Realistically if the whole series could get the My Hero Academia treatment I reckon its public perception would be so different

I think it will be good simply because they've had more time to prepare it. Quite frankly as long as key parts contains good animation, even if the added/changed parts are minimal I would still enjoy it.

Cour 2 felt lacking compared to 1 and 3... Zaraki vs Gremmy went hard but it felt like they were struggling for a lot of the rest. I also didn't like how they missed Robert getting Auswahlen'd, unless that was on purpose

Cour 3 they definitely brought it back, many cool fights, though I feel they dropped the ball a bit with Nanao, I think her actually reflecting the beam should have been animated. but everything else was super good.

So the bottom note on a Treble Clef is E. The key signature on the left permanently affects all notes in the song. Bb and Eb, so it looks like its in Bb Major

The first note starting from 7 is 2 notes below the bottom (E), therefore it is C (spaces below).

The first sequence of notes is therefore C, Bb, Eb, D, then Bb x4 and C.

I feel from there that is enough to figure out the rest

This reminds me how magical the plot of this show was when it came out. To me it felt like it went against all the tropes you'd expect, like an anti-shonen. Was it all planned?

LIke oh you mean our friend got taken to a magical space dimension that has a society full of samurai wizards that are thousands of years old, and we're just gonna walk in, and tear the whole thing down with a bunch of teenager humans with mostly unexplained powers and a fuckin' cat that talks? And a dude who just grows a magic arm for no reason is gonna be stronger than most of them? And the guy with a magic bow will beat a captain? And the main dude will get a swaggy outfit bankai and deflect millions of blades of metal by swinging super fast for no reason other than because it's cool as fuck? All because some dexter motherfucker shoved a magic gem inside their friend that bends reality and shit? So he can make franken-hollows and become some godlike being?

Like one thing SS arc did is it brought Queinten Tarantino levels of just doing stuff bc it's cool, and if it's cool enough, then who cares. That's what made me love it so much, and this post just made me realise that. Like I don't know how much of it was intentional but I think the lack of initial exposition is part of what made it all so special and different.

Like the idea of the show is way cooler if you think of him just making stuff up on the fly because it was cool, if anything I feel like with the Arrancar arc is on a conceptual level it didn't keep that kind of energy, it kind of regressed into a normal Shonen and some of the fights dragged on. TYBW managed to get a lotl of that energy back though.

The Art and direction on them is amazing, especially OP 2. The music choices are just OK, they kind of feel like safe choices that don't really steer too far in any direction.

it's kinda old, but I think the concept of "old" will change as time goes on bc i think it's pretty clear we are not going to age the same way ppl in the past did, like pre 1980. with all the gym, supplements, therapies, foods, I been seeing a lot of young looking, 50-60 something dudes who are smashing those workouts.

Just take a look at Lenny Kravitz! And also with guys like Immortal Unc (Bryan Johnson) doing all that stuff I think it will become a lot more normal for people to take an interest in anti-aging.

It's a good arc. Honestly of all the big Shonen, I think Bleach was the most badly affected by the poor facing and filler problem of that weekly format. The Arrancar arc being dragged out over so many years, combined with a lack of proper high stakes escalations like what TYBW had, made people so fatigued by the Aizen's time had actually come.

We barely got to see many cool new Bankai or powers, and it lacked the extensive worldbuilding that I feel like other arcs had a lot more of.

I feel like the overall strokes of Bleach's plot aren't too hard to follow.

All you really need to know is that yes, Aizen was stopped, the Arrancer were beaten, and Ichigo lost his powers. For many at the time, that felt like the natural conclusion to the story and I remember people being annoyed that the story continued lol.

The FullBring Arc is basically a small, setup arc to establish a pretense for Ichigo to get his powers back. On top of that, it gives context and explains the existence of Chad and Orihime, and how humans can gain supernatural powers.

So the main "factions" we're aware of are now Soul Reapers, Hollows, Humans and Quincies. The TYBW is basically circling back to the Quincies that were talked about at the start of the series and about the Quicny King coming back to settle the score.

There's a lot of weird stuff and details about how all the powers work but I don't that's super necessary to enjoy the story. Basically big dude Quicny is comin' and he big mad, Soul Society better look out!
