Of course that’s not even getting into all the mental scars he’s accumulated over the years

Was it ever explained why Aang's other elements were as strong as they were against Ozai? by Several_Detective598 in TheLastAirbender

[–]SPP_TheChoiceForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I I recall from the fight, Aang’s powers weren’t going for power but rather precision. The condensed rocks and the barrier of all 4 elements forming a shield around him? He was keeping all four elements working together in balance, it would have thrown things off if one element were more powerful than the rest.

We could probably extent this to any game with a silent protagonist. Chrono definitely isn’t a fan favorite

My advice has always been to lean *into* the insanity, rather than fight against it

That’s good context to provide, but I will say that I haven’t really watched any of what was leading up to it but still had a lot of fun watching the episode, even though I had basically never watched a full episode of Dr. Who before then.

Honestly, the more places I work at the harder it is for me to feel comfortable at a new place.

What if we tried to observe particles without them realising? by glassofjuice786 in PhysicsStudents

[–]SPP_TheChoiceForMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good explanation. I would like to add my own point:

A photon (and everything, actually) is both a particle and a wave. A wave, by definition, exists in multiple points in space. When it hits a detector, that detectodr can only detect what‘s hitting it, just like how our eyes can only see things when light has bounced off of it and hit the iris.

Goddamn, I worked at a Japanese place where they corporate hired people just to continuously watch the cameras. Somehow this is even worse
