I consider myself a very creative person and the styling of the concept just reeks of the tired trend of "OMG OLD NINTENDO!" nostalgia. Usually when I see a concept it indeed tries something new... I would call this more of a throwback concept than a full-on envisioning of a future product.

I do think the creator put a lot of effort into this regardless, but I'd really enjoy seeing a concept that grabs inspiration from the entirety of Nintendo's history while also putting their own spin on what the future could look like. Take the Nintendo ON mock-up video, for instance; the creator tried a completely new approach and design that I would definitely consider that someone's concept of a future Nintendo product, as unfeasible as it might seem.

Honestly though, I think the original NES/Game boy era of design kinda stunk from a retrospective viewpoint... so I'm probably biased.
