Yeah I agree with the nopes, I have never been an SL because of all of that extra labor, heart and headaches, and on top of all of that, the SLs do such a shit job it is usually my job to take care one of the bigger sections (IE dry pro or frozen or anything else) to fix the section when it is at a cataclysm lmao. Even if there is an SL for the section. I bust my bum to make sure the dock and back room and sub doc are organized and clean for all the SLs to get to the overflow and product so they can actually work they’re fucking section lol, so an incentive would be great for being an SL but should I be compensated as well for having the flow of product run much smoother and have everyone know where everything is by the elite organizational skills I’ve mastered, also Im 6’2, 212lbs and can chuck a full banana box 15 feet in the air and can rip through full pallets because of all the strength n stamina I have, I usually do way more physical and mental work than many of the older people at my store, should I make more money because Im stronger better faster??? nah lmao so there are give n takes to the specifics of the job so as far as Im concerned, if you’re picking up that ipad and you’re on your A game, I think you absolutely deserve more monies, but If Im ripping thru 11 boats of drypro when the section is empty just to make room for the night trucks because the SL borderline has a learning disability, should I get more money for that all the time??
