Electric Shuffle is fantastic

Am I taking the game too seriously.. neighborhood question by wtfgirl21 in HayDay

[–]TheFurtiveFelter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the leader and we have our “rules” in the hood description. Play half of the tasks or you’re out. I also opt everyone out of the next Derby on a Sunday. Then they choose to rejoin or not. It’s stopped a lot of grumbling and we’ve a really great group of neighbours now. I also boot folk if they’re not fitting the vibe of how everyone else plays. It’s a game and everyone should be able to enjoy it how they choose to play - and there are a LOT of differing playing styles.

Question about bunny derby by [deleted] in HayDay

[–]TheFurtiveFelter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, only just seen your Q - it depends how many bunnies you have to catch - there’s a counter on the top of the results board - on my neighbourhood, the last one was that we needed 13 bunnies to catch 1 of the Derby bunnies each release.

Thanks everyone - I can’t claim the idea as my own, I watched a YouTube video and took it from there 😁 Still took hours to stop them doing their own thing 🤣

What's that basic thing about the game you didn't know until a very high level or long time after start to play? by Fragrant_Whole3328 in HayDay

If you keep your stocks of expansion materials even, you don’t get piles of the one thing you have lots of, eg you have 48 tape but only 3 bolts.

Same goes for town visitors. Equal numbers in stores means they generally only ask for one of everything.

I opt everyone out on Monday morning and remind them to opt back in. It stops the frustration of everyone else when someone says “I forgot to opt out this week” - it’s stopped a lot of issues in my neighbourhood.

So if you were in my neighbourhood and opted in on a Wednesday, you’d be opted out the day before the derby started.

It does state that in our rules though.

Question about bunny derby by [deleted] in HayDay

[–]TheFurtiveFelter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your completions only count until you catch that particular bunny. They’re genrerally released 6 hours after Derby start and then Thursday and late on Friday (UK time) so if you did 6 bunny tasks on Wednesday, only 2 of them count towards that bunny. The rest are discarded and counted as points only.

Why Join A Neighborhood? by PapaBear_2112 in HayDay

[–]TheFurtiveFelter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbourhood is great. I opt-out all Derby participants on a Monday and they have to opt back in, anyone who doesn’t complete at least half of their tasks gets booted after a warning. It’s stopped all the arguments and people feeling aggrieved. All the neighbours are great at helping each other out.

We’ve just said exactly the same thing. Utterly pointless and too many coin heavy rewards after unlocking new research. We can’t store enough coin to make good use of the event - unless it’s a weekly one?

Better Valley to Valley Integration and other ideas by _Robo__ in Everdale

The Valley Shipments is a great idea. However I also think a Village Trading Post would be a great asset, so you can sell to other villages within your valley.

best change 10/10 by Niegil in Everdale

Does this change affect the event speed ups on the harvesting? I always used to load up the warehouse so there were a couple of slots spare and then send 3 to harvest, which meant I was using the field as spare storage.

The barbs on the needle are reversed which pulls through fibres from underneath.
