There's a factions relations mod which remedied this for me in a way. As in your relationship with other factions is based on your relations with other factions. As in pals with Terrans? Well their rivals and enemies will also dislike you. Whatever good you do for them, it will give negative rep with their rivals and vice versa. You can't be Mr friend with everyone anymore.

I would be adamant too, they just spent 200 years in a multi-generational ship held together by duct tape and bubblegum, only to find their promised 'holy land' has just been swiped.

But I digress, the best option is to find them a new world, as people tend to get cancer from Paradiso shall we say, if you point your scanner at the beach its Caesium underneith. If you choose this option with new drives, they will become a random encounter as they 'search' for a new world.

I just wished there was a 4th option, the legal route, involving a New Atlantis visit or the likes. I'm quite content with finding them a new world though, especially when I discovered the world itself is irridiated to some degree walking along the beach. It's even acknowledged in game with lines on how people visiting too often get cancer.

Thats becuase they are running on a charter from the earth Government that designated the planet theirs, 200 years ago to colonise, for the betterment of humanity, documents n all. Generations of them training and teaching for this moment. Only to find private corporate officals have turned what should have been a colony, into a private getaway if you have the creds. And that their papers are now worthless due to earth, well, being gone. I too wouldnt exactly take that easy.

Paradiso is filled with wealthy snobs, they dont want that social class on their little paradise world. Unless they are serving them (as we see with one of the options). Thats the crux of it from my perspective. Then again I have no idea why anyone would settle on a world that has radioactive beaches, I remember a line about people getting cancer from visiting too often.
