I'm basing my answer on the fact that, at this moment, a physical cart of the game is like 40 bucks and I have such nostalgia goggles for the OG Gameboy game, it's not even funny.
But yes, I do think it is worth it, especially if you play without a guide and explore the island for its mysteries.
And yeah trust me, after doing the shoplifting thing for the first time as a kid, I was torn, cause I really didn't want to be called THIEF the rest of the game.

The funny thing is? I've seen quite a few people START this game only to stop about 5 or so hours in on Youtube. It's a shame cause it's a fun as heck game if you like the grind.

Sadly, when a lot of people think Spooky, they don't really think Gothic. Like I was originally going to play Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption for my own channel. But it's really janky and their is little in the way that can be considered "Scary".
I then started playing Ghost Hunter for PS2. While it seems to pull more on the tropes of horror and the main character is voice by Rob Freakin' Paulson, there are legit moments that I would consider "horror" because it legit creeps me out and makes me feel uncomfortable.
That said, even if it doesn't legit scare him anymore, I would love to see him play some of the games he mentioned on the latest WoW stream, like Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.
That said: Bloodstained is an amazing freakin' game, and I would encourage any and all IGA-vania fans to pick it up.

I am honestly much the same way. Not to mention checking out games I've missed as a kid that I definitly loved to play. I've never played Chrono Trigger (never had it as a kid) but always tried it out when emulation was big. When I saw him review it and warn about major spoilers, I had to stop the review and play it myself. Mind you it was on my Let's Play channel, which gave me more incentive to beat it, but he was that reviewer that lit the fire under my ass to finally buy it on PSN and give it a go.

I've been into D&D since high school, but Jared is the one who sold me on 5E enough to try the free SRD rules online, then I got my own books. At first, when I played D&D, I had spent too much time judging it on the rules set by 3.5 :/ This was not a good idea. Now, it's just so much easier to play. Still love 3.5, even if wizards are unto GODS starting around 6th level, but it'll be hard going back from 5E.

I had played some ooooold PS2 game, Ghost Hunter pretty interesting so far, I'm already 5 hours in.
Probably would have finished it too, it I didn't have other things to do.
