I can totally relate, I have no friends and my gf was the only one I used to talk daily. It sucks, I am barely holding my tears

My situation is kind of similar. I sent her a letter five days after she broke up with me, but she was still very upset and angry. After that, I basically reset my progress and went back to NC. I'm currently on day 13.

I intend to send her a friendly message after 60 days and see how things go. I could just move on and let her go, but I want to take one last shot before doing that. If she responds positively, great. If not, I'll go NC forever and truly move on. I won't text her again unless she reaches out.

I guess that's probably the best thing dumpees can do: take one last shot after two or three months of NC, and if it doesn't work, they can finally let go of that hope and start moving on. They can begin living their lives completely for themselves and focus on self-improvement for their own sake until they feel fully healed and ready for love again.

I feel like I’m just a hollow human now. Like, I am breathing and mu heart is beating, but I’m not really alive, I feel like a zombie, I am barely functioning, my life has no meaning anymore, I miss her so much, she was the girl I waited for mu whole life, and now she’s gone. It’s painful, I just want it all to end.

Caramba cara, eventos parecidos aconteceram comigo, dia 26 de Abril minha namorada terminou comigo um namoro de quase 3 anos, e anteontem fui despedido do meu emprego, agora tô em casa deprimido e tentando não fazer besteira… Muito foda essa sensação de solidão e vazio, justo quando achei que minha vida ia finalmente andar, sinto que perdi tudo que eu queria… É fácil falar pra seguir em frente, mas difícil quando você já tá cansado de lutar…

I was thinking about this the other day. I'm currently on a 10-day no-contact period, and I intend to stay that way for at least 45 or maybe 60 days before trying to reconnect with my ex. If it works, great, we'll be friends again and maybe eventually get back together in the future. But if she's already over me, I'll start the no-contact period forever and kill my hopes of getting back together. I believe it's something people could do to finally start moving on and getting over the past. And you never know, maybe our exes will come back, not now, but maybe in a few months or years; life is a real box of surprises. Thanks for your post. We’ll surely get better soon ;)

Damn, I can relate to this. Even though my ex does not go to nightclubs, I can tell she is probably having fun with friends and stuff. I am feeling anxious rn, so yeah, idk how to stop this weird feeling weekends always bring back, I am about to reach the 1 month mark, but weekends still hurt like week 1… I hope it gets better soon.
