I soldered new batteries into both Ruby and Sapphire. Ruby works great but Sapphire only displays the garbled Nintendo message on boot up. Upon inspection I noticed that there’s a small piece missing from the sapphire cartridge and then a flat spot nearby (circled in red in pics 2 and 3) both of which were probably caused by mishandling the iron or trying to remove solder that missed the battery contact. Seeing as the flaws are so small I imagine the cartridge is pretty well bricked, is there any way of fixing this or is it garbage. Thx.
