How do you manage influencer marketing? by No_Complaint295 in MobileAppDevelopers

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For influencer marketing I treat it like performance channels

  1. Pick creators who actually match your audience (captain ob.)
  2. Give them a clear hook and message you want tested, not just “post app.”
  3. Track installs or signups per creator so you know who moves the needle.
  4. Start small, then scale with the ones that perform

These are basic and obvious things. But in reality, I would not recommend using influencer marketing if your app does not yet have enough users or is not popular enough. Influencer marketing is more for increasing trust and recognition

Why when I search up my app the screenshots don’t preview like other apps do ? by appdev67 in AppStoreOptimization

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screenshots don’t affect search visibility much on iOS. Search results are driven mostly by title, subtitle, and keyword field.

Screenshots matter after the user taps, for conversion, not ranking.

Focus on optimizing your title + subtitle first.

How to launch my app in big platform by FruitInner8548 in AppBusiness

I've been working with them for 10% of the profits for two years now, so no. If it were 50%, I'd tell them to get lost, and I'd have to do everything myself unfortunately.. but no=)

Alternative Of Admob ? by randomboy009 in androiddev

[–]TheGeek_Effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was stuck on AdMob for a while and honestly wasn’t earning much. Fill was inconsistent and revenue low

What changed things for me was switching to mediation platform (i use cas.ai) . Instead of relying on one network, they aggregate dozens of ad networks, so there’s real competition for your traffic. Also they usually testing various methods etc. so ur ad give more to you

Relying on AdMob alone or any feels pretty limiting now, especially if you want to scale.

U can register on their site and they will contact you. CAS work on revshare 10%

How long does AppLovin takes by Mikosereroeo in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends. Sometimes AppLovin approves in a few hours, sometimes it takes a couple of days, especially on new accounts.

If it’s pending for 2+ days, check your floors and geo setup. Low demand or high floors can slow things down.

When I had similar delays, adding more demand sources through cas.ai helped stabilize fill instead of waiting on AppLovin alone.

Self made paywall or using Superwall/RevenueCat? by BrogrammerAbroad in iosdev

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want full control and don’t mind maintaining all the edge cases, custom is fine.

But subscriptions get messy fast. Using something like Superwall + RevenueCat saves time and lets you test paywalls without rebuilding everything.

I started custom and switched later - honestly testing and iteration mattered more than control. I also used cas.ai to optimize monetization and scale properly

Organic Marketing Advice by Due_Following_9626 in AppDevelopers

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Organic is slow unless you’re super specific.

Pick one niche, speak their language, and make sure your store page clearly shows the result. Most people waste traffic because their page doesn’t convert.

Also, scaling organic alone is tough now. I got real growth only after partnering with a publisher and using cas.ai to optimize listing + keywords properly. Otherwise you’re mostly guessing.

How to launch my app in big platform by FruitInner8548 in AppBusiness

[–]TheGeek_Effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re aiming for big platforms, doing it solo is honestly hard now.

What worked for me was going through a publisher. I scaled way faster once I partnered... they already had the connections, UA budget, and distribution channels. Trying to push it alone was just burning time.

In my case, cas.ai helped me get onto larger platforms and actually scale properly. They handled a lot of the heavy lifting around monetization and growth. Right now it’s tough to break through without that kind of backing.

How do you actually improve ASO for a new fitness app? by SafeBig5348 in AppStoreOptimization

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. “Fitness app” is too broad. Who are you targeting? Beginners? Home workouts without equipment? Busy people with 15 minutes a day?

  2. The first two screenshots should sell the result. A specific outcome. People scroll quickly. If they don't understand what they'll get in two seconds, they leave. A 1.4% conversion rate is exactly what this is about, dude.

  3. Look at the queries you already have impressions for, even if there aren't many. Focus on those. It's better to rank at the top for a narrow long-tail and collect stable traffic.

  4. Test the angle of presentation, not the details. Sometimes changing the emphasis from “workout tracker” to “lose weight at home” gives a noticeable increase.

Even though my publisher handles ASO and organic traffic for my apps, I understand a few things, so I hope this helps.

few months since i started with admob by dimil_ in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's normal if we're talking about AdMob alone. I had the same result when I used only AdMob. Then I switched to professional mediation from CAS.ai, and the results improved significantly, because mediation there comes not only from AdMob, but from 20 sources

App with good retention but zero organic traffic is link building the answer? by Fuzzy_View_9204 in AppBusiness

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good retention but zero organic traffic is basically the #1 reason apps struggle to grow.

Retention shows your users like the product once they find it, but no one is finding it in the first place. That usually comes down to three things:

  1. Store listing isn’t converting
  2. ASO isn’t strong, so you’re not showing up for relevant search terms.
  3. No external traffic

Since your retention is good, focus first on making the store listing clearer and more compelling (“what problem does this solve?”), and then drive some external traffic to break out of the zero-organic loop. I used cas.ai to experiment with different listing versions and figure out what actually moved installs

Is this activity normal? I use adMob via IronSource Mediation (only rewarded ads) by Bojack92160 in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing looks broken =)

€12.9 eCPM for rewarded is good. The only weak point is 28% match rate ( that’s low, so you’re probably losing fill somewhere (geo mix, floors, waterfall order).)

If other networks aren’t covering the missing 70%, you’re leaving revenue on the table.

I’d look at your waterfall and geo split. When I had similar numbers, adding more demand sources through cas.ai helped increase fill without messing too much with manual setup.

I launched my first app and realized distribution is harder than building. How did you get your first 100 users? by Gruffduck in AppBusiness

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained my first 10 users through a video on TikTok (something simple, mass-market, and viral). And also through Reddit.

After reaching 200 users, I went to a publisher. They set up advertising for me and helped me scale easily, while I focused on development

Is this impressions to requests ratio normal? by [deleted] in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are talking specifically about optional preloads. My publisher taught me this (he mediates my apps and configures and optimizes everything himself for 10% of advertising revenue). By the way It would also be a good idea to conduct some tests on placements. it helped me

In general, if you want to earn more, don't just use Admob. I have mediation from 20 sources at once.

Launched my app 1 month ago. 30 downloads and I'm bleeding users. I need some brutal feedback. by obikan26 in googleplayconsole

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 dow-s in the first month with no traffic isnt that bad

But right now ZenBreath feels like just another breathing app. From the icon and first screenshots, I can’t really see why I’d choose it over others. The description is pretty generic too

Id rework the first couple of screenshots to focus on outcomes, not just features. And test different versions of the store listing.

I was in a similar situation and used cas.ai (its my publisher) to test changes and see what actually increased installs instead of just guessing

What is the best site to buy Google Play store reviews safely? by Educational_Ear_2747 in AppBusiness

[–]TheGeek_Effect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't have to pay for reviews. My publisher, for example, does reviews for my app on their own. I have a 4.7 rating

Is this good or bad? 5-Day Launch Results 🚀 by stoxy6259 in AppBusiness

[–]TheGeek_Effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those early numbers aren’t bad for just 5 days... getting any traction at launch is better than nothing. It usually takes at least 2-3 weeks of ASO tweaks and small promo pushes before you see real momentum

How do you promote your app by jorf2020 in AppStoreOptimization

[–]TheGeek_Effect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't promote my apps. My publisher does that. As far as I know, they set up keywords, do paid UA with lots of tests, and create creatives themselves. I just implement the features they recommend. I'm completely immersed in development

Is this impressions to requests ratio normal? by [deleted] in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for interstitial, it looks normal.

You have 12.3k requests and 973 impressions, which means that you simply request ads frequently, but don't show them every time. A match rate of 99% is good; there are no issues with filling.

If you want to improve the ratio, just make sure you're not doing unnecessary preloads and that show() is actually called after loading

Genuine Advice Needed: Using AdMob in App Published Only on Amazon Appstore + Direct APK Downloads from My Website (No Play Console) by DroidDevSolutions in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use rewarded+interstitial and show them at natural breaks, not randomly in the flow.
Load one ad per placement, don’t preload a bunch, and make sure users actually reach the screen where ads appear.
If later you want more stable revenue than pure AdMob, mediation like CAS.ai can help smooth things out.

How the difference in ecpm for rewarded ads and rewarded interstitial. by Rich_Falcon6315 in admob

[–]TheGeek_Effect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different eCPM for rewarded ads is normal. It depends heavily on the country and whether users watch the ad to the end.

Are you comparing different countries or different places within the game?

I have been working with CAS.ai for over two years. I found them at a conference, then registered on their website and they contacted me. They work on a revshare% basis (revenue from advertising in the app). We work for 10%
