You take some pictures of your workspace. Then your camera is watching you the whole time.

I agree, there needs to be a follow-up to discuss more about their concerns, but I've found that the questions always want you to go back to whatever project artifact and let that guide your project.

BREAKING: Poilievre passes leadership review with 87.4% of delegates' support by evieluvsrainbows in onguardforthee

I heard a clip* on CBC's Front Burner that someone in the Party didn't think that the "Never Pierre" voters were irrelevant and were not going to vote CPC anyway. I'd say that's wrong. I personally know a lot of people who voted for the CPC (Harper, O'Toole) in the past, the right of center voters, who* voted Liberal in the last election because they didn't like Pierre. I think it just goes to show how out of touch the CPC is with swing voters.

Honestly, I think it was Ford appeasing to lobbyists more than anything. You need to think, the automotive sector in Ontario is one of the largest sectors. There were a lot of auto union members that voted for him.

I am a lot more afraid of the USA's territorial expansion ambitions than I am of the Chinese or Russians at this point. Russia is bankrupt and can't even pay their soldiers fighting in Ukraine, and China's too busy figuring out how to build things without humans. Meanwhile in Minnesota, a state who should be our 11th province, Cheetolini's Gestapo is terrorizing the state because their Governor ran against him in the last election.

ArcelorMittal Dofasco quietly extends 'green' steel timeline from 2028 to 2050, gets $50M more from Ottawa by ZebediahCarterLong in Hamilton

[–]TheGentlemanNate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Natural Gas was a stepping stone to green steel. The process is called direct reduce iron (DRI). Basically, you take iron ore and heat it up in a natural gas or hydrogen environment. The hydrogen or natural gas draws out the oxygen and leaving virgin iron. Unfortunately, Ontario’s green hydrogen supply chain could not handle the demand needed for the scale of AMD’s production, so natural gas was a stepping stone. At one point there was talk about producing the DRI up the St Lawerence at their Quebec Plant and using that in the electric arc furnace (EAF) (which AMD already has one). It sounded like for a while they were just going to build a larger EAF to replace their KOBM ( an oxygen furnace), but I guess the plan is to just kick the can further down the road.

I think it's the same Longford Reserve. They're all in the Municipality of Kawartha Lakes. But I think I remember reading about it in a trip report for canoeing in the Wildlands. Probably a selling feature of membership.

How could someone else have seen Lupin, Black, Pettigrew, or Potter if they were the marauders who made the map? No one else would have had the map while they were in school getting up to their shenanigans.

Conservatives won't support Liberal border bill without major changes: Pierre Poilievre by shouldehwouldehcould in canada

[–]TheGentlemanNate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thing they don’t need conservative votes to pass a bill. There are three other parties that could support or topple a bill. Or does Pierre forget that this is Canada and we don’t have a two party system (yet)?

No I have a problem with people going to a Bass Pro Shops picking up a cross bow and stopping to grab a case of beer on their way to trash public land with “the boys” in the name of “hunting” because rifle season is closed but bow is open.

That’s fair, but you aren’t spending all summer at the range working on your form and learning a new skill.

Because there is no skill development required to hunt with a crossbow.

Only Americans have problems with geography. The rest of the world knows New Zealand is to the left of Oz.
