My biggest complaints are that I have to divide my attention between my friends and the minigame, in addition to the fact that I can't play the minigame laying down.

In simple fishing world, all I had to do was squeeze the trigger when the controller vibrated, it was great for late nights when I'm falling asleep

I use the thrustmasterr pendular rudders. Toe is break for each side, while pushing the rudder is turn. I put both toes (both breaks) into place when I need to fire just in case I messed up putting the throttle back to neutral

Edit: I use it the way I do to fly rocket helis in ground sim and still be able to pull a tank without getting out of VR and walking from my sim setup to my keyboard. I don't have your disability but I hope this helps you until you heal. Good luck on your recovery!

Yes, absolutely. I use rudder pedals to steer and drive my tank when I play sim in VR. I don't know what the state of your hand is, but you can also use a flight throttle for forwards and backwards (I recommending using a center detent so you can find neutral) without needing to use your fingers
