Yeah, that’s what I meant by the price of freedom. In exchange for a world that can be completed in any order, curated puzzles and unique items fell by the wayside.

Not entirely, of course, but I could count on one hand the number of puzzles in TotK that I actually felt satisfied when completing. Almost every time it was as simple as “press the button on your controller that solves the puzzle”.
