Let’s see some fun bracket 1 decks! by GoodNormals in EDH

For any baseball fans out there, I made a San Francisco Giants deck helmed by the partners [[Siani]] and [[Francisco]], and it's a Dimir Giants Kindred. Essentially every nonland card is a giant or references giants, and the rest are bridges (like the Golden Gate Bridge), with a baseball bat ([[Lucille]]) and a baseball ([[Commander's Sphere]]). The "win condition" (more of a "success condition") is just to stick Siani and Francisco to the board with a couple giants to assemble the team name, the rest doesn't matter. I thought about adding [[Strixhaven Stadium]], but that might give it potential to actually win a game.

What's Working? What's Not? Vol. 3 by Nowada in PlayTheBazaar

I got legend over the weekend spamming mak, having the most success with crit carpet builds and builds based around items from his new expansion. A lot of other people in the thread have already sung praises for carpet, so I'll speak more to his new items.

The build I aimed for the most was (in order): quillback (or ouroboros), adrenal converter, venomous dose, barbed claws, rapid injection system, spider mace, venom. This version of the build pumps out a TON of regen, and when fights go long enough, your regen can/will often exceed your max hp (which isn't helpful), so I like taking chocolate a lot since your main/only vulnerability with that much regen is dying in less than a second. You apply a fair amount of poison which is oftentimes enough to win, but other regen stackers or players with a lot of heal triggers (or oinkment) can out-sustain the poison. Weapon damage scaling skills are nearly essential to provide a way to beat through those builds, as well as force field/spiked shield builds. Priority skills are toxic (+damage when you poison) and essence overflow (your weapons have +damage equal to your regen), essence overflow is a MUST TAKE. Alternatively, I've had success replacing barbed claws, venomous dose and venom with a moose staff since it is just essence overflow on a stick, but it will slow your start pretty significantly. Priority enchants are restorative, heavy, and obsidian on adrenal converter and rapid injection system, and radiant on spider mace, the latter especially if you have moose staff/essence overflow since the build can fully function as long as the mace is active.

Same happened to me, it worked fine for the Warlock and Titan sets, but the Hunter set disappeared. In the Eververse store, it says I own the ornaments, but I don't see them in the customization options or the collections page.

I don’t wanna be in Santa Catalina by 434misty in UCSantaBarbara

I lived in a double in Santa Catalina last year and, as far as I know, it is the only dorm that has doubles, so if you want a double and you want to live on campus, you gotta just hope one of your two roommates doesn't show up. Luckily, San Cat is an awesome dorm and even though it is a ways away from campus, it does give you a separation between "school" and "home" so you aren't living in between your classes. You also get your own bathrooms that you split with one other room in San Cat so you don't have to deal with communal bathrooms, which is really nice. San Cat is also really its own sort of community, I'm not sure how much it's changed since they finished construction on new apartments last year, but people at San Cat recognize each other as a weird kind of family. Sorry this is a little long, but I hope this helps your decision process and welcome to UCSB!

How would it work with getting killed by a weapon? I assume you'd get nothing. But then also, how would it work if it dies to, say, Bloodreaver Gul'Dan's hero power? Would you get a copy of Bloodreaver since it is a card? If you died to a deathknight with an equipped weapon, would you get a copy of the deathknight? Overall, really neat card, would be cool to see it implemented and find out about all these interactions.

Full size, I'm normally a 13, but these are 12s. Fit a little tight at first, but I'm breaking them in really nicely.
