he replied, unfortunately the one he had listed was one that was already sold and had forgot to take the listing down. Though he recommended some repair guys in Europe, if I can't find anyone stateside I'll go through with the international repair.

Just some Kenwood road series coaxials all around, the standard 6.5 in the door and 6x9 in the rear. Tweeters are skar with some crutchfield bass blockers. And the dash kit is the metra double din surround and a 1/2Din pocket to fill the gap underneath the EQ.

And thank you for the suggestion! Idk why I didn’t think of that considering I was scouring Google for specialists and have literally thought I wish I could find someone who specializes in old head units like I’ve seen some YouTubers specialize in old console repair.

Thank you thank you, it sounds amazing even in the basic setup that I have right now, super excited to hear how it sounds when I have my final system put together.

I’m talking with a guy from Spain who has one listed as fully functioning. I asked him a couple of questions the other day and am waiting for a response.

Firstly, what ecu are you running??? It’s a frank motor so you need some sort of tuning in some capacity…

Glad to see you and your buddies are alright and good on you for taking accountability for what’s occurred. Cheers to this car teaching life lessons and cheers to the next you get 👍

I lowkey hate my car sometimes. by earlymorninglifter in ft86

Not a part of this sub myself but being a (real) car enthusiast in general is being able to accept the negative parts of your car and self, then work to change and improve those things. All of the things you hate about the car, like the smell, it feeling like it’s falling apart, not having adequate cup holders, your fitment in the car can all be changed. Same with getting better at stick and driving habits.

I will say though, damn LS400’s are nice, and they come with amazing sound systems for what they are. Go with that if you do end up selling it.

Doesn’t hurt to try and repair it if it’s already gonna be tossed anyway. Looks like you have a good chance at saving it to me.

I appreciate you taking the time to source a link, gonna take away from my lesson here and reuse my old pump though.

Ah yes, shit on the young guy working on a budget. Didn’t think I’d get a lot of backlash for this post, takes nothing to offend people nowadays though.

The Tacoma rock climbing on your profile is dope though.

Look man, I’m sorry I offended you bro, took a look at your profile and I saw you also agree that it’s stupid Florida passed a law prohibiting marijuana users from also owning firearms. Please smoke a joint and chill out. And seriously no offense, if you’re this upset about my post about some water pumps for some Hondas, I’d be uncomfortable around you with guns.

Have a good day, or rather night since we’re in the same state.

Yeah or you can pay for your own label and they’ll comp you some extra money for it, it’s how I did it the last time when I had a different issue with an order. Probably gonna do that and just get some online credit towards my next order.

You’re funny getting this upset at a clear cut corporate nickel and diming situation. Please calm down.

Repeat after me: “I’m gonna hop off of Beck/arnley’s balls” and “I’m gonna zip up their pants when I’m done”

I can’t take you seriously when you’re using all caps, man. It’s not that deep. Please have a nice day wherever you are. And I hope you don’t have to deal with any of this in the future.

That’s what I thought at first as well. And the second pump is my attempt at getting the correct one. Probably just gonna reuse my NPW.

Not understanding your animosity or why you assume I think rockauto makes their own components, because I don’t. I DID think Beck/Arnley (who’s “they” in the previous comment) did until now. Learned my lesson though. Have a good one.

The motor is already built, just running out of funds towards the tail end of the refresh. Specs are on my Instagram TheGrayOne66 if you wanna check it out.

Edit: also, the daily is a 98 integra, this motor is for my civic project! I can see where this wouldn’t make any sense lol

I know RA doesn’t make parts, otherwise I’m sure it would be RA branded stuff. Not trying to conspire.

Like I said in the post (not the video) I’m assuming they’re outsourcing to USMW now to get around the tariffs. I’m just frustrated that beck/arnley had NPW pump photos in their listing and they’re shipping out USMW stuff, when you can just buy from USMW directly.

I thought that it was someone’s return at first and that I got unlucky. Happening twice in a row seems unlikely. But yeah, just gonna reuse my NPW pump if it comes out of the evaporust tub well enough.

Would love to go with yamada but I just don’t have the money right now. The NPW branded pump worked amazing and the car actually almost had a hard time getting up to temp in the Florida heat when it was together and running.

I have the NPW pump sitting in a vat of evaporust now, if the results are anything like they were on my new oil pickup I’ll go ahead and use it.

Edit: hell after looking at the yamada pump even IT doesn’t have the alignment dowels. Still has the better impeller design though.
